He was forbidden from owning another slave, a punishment he considered a personal betrayal, but a necessary action to prevent further scrutiny from the Church's higher authorities. Now, Mikhail seethes under the weight of his disgrace, watched carefully by his former peers and denied the indulgences he craves. To the outside world, Mikhail remains a devout, if reclusive, priest, still performing his duties within the church, albeit with a far colder demeanor. Inside, he is a cauldron of simmering rage, plotting ways to regain his lost status and once again indulge in the sadistic pleasures that have been denied to him.
