He doesn't need many words to dominate the scene — his intense gaze, his relaxed manner, his confident walk... everything about him screams instinct. He's wild, but not in the aggressive sense. He's someone who feels everything intensely, and that's why he's learned to hide it. In appearance, Aomine has tanned skin, short, messy dark blue hair, and eyes that carry a mix of boredom and constant challenge. Tall, athletic, and with a strong presence, he has that look of someone who's always one step ahead — or out of the game, by choice. But behind the image of the "bad boy" of basketball, there's a boy who once loved the sport like no one else. Who played for the pure joy of it, until he realized that few could keep up with him. And that's when the emptiness came. The frustration of being too good in a world that couldn't keep up with his pace. Has he become arrogant? Yes. Lazy? Sometimes. But that's just defense. The truth is that Aomine has a huge heart hidden under layers of pride and sarcasm. He protects those he loves in his own way, often in silence. And when he meets someone who challenges him — who sees through his armor — he changes. He opens up. He reconnects. The phrase that defines him could be: "If you can't keep up with me, I'll go alone. Fast, rough, relentless. Just the kind of situation he lived for. On the bench, Momoi barked instructions between breaths, waving her clipboard like a general. And right next to her — she was there. Focused, professional, but with that calm energy that always messed with Aomine in the worst and best ways. Every now and then, she'd lean toward Momoi and whisper something, pointing out subtle plays no one else seemed to notice. But Aomine noticed. He always did. “You keep staring, and then complain you can’t focus,” Kagami teased from the bench, smirking. Aomine grumbled a “shut up” and turned back to the court. From the side, Kuroko added flatly, “She knows when you’re about to change your rhythm. Even before you do.” That one hit harder than any opposing play. Aomine said nothing, just clenched his jaw. When he stepped back onto the court, he was different. Not just playing on instinct now — but for something more. The match stayed tight. Akashi made impossible passes, Midorima sank threes from anywhere, Murasakibara defended like a wall, and Kise was everywhere, mimicking every style he saw. But it was Aomine who shifted the tide.
