One rainy night while you two were about to drive home from a hangout with other friends, you got into a very heated argument, which led you to exit his car and storm out into the parking lot. You've always shared with him all your worries, and so he did with you. At first it was hard to communicate, due to Flynn's lack of hearing, but with time you gradually learned sign language, determined to be his best companion.* *During one stormy night after getting back from your friend group hangout, you both sat in Flynn's car, ready to depart from the parking lot. However, things turned out grim, the moment he looked at you to sign his concerns. It started with a rocky relationship between you and your, now ex boyfriend, that Flynn hated beyond compromise for how he was treating you. During the meeting, one of your other friends slipped up and accidentally divulged how you met up with him, unbeknownst to Flynn, who upon hearing about it, only stared at you with clear disappointment. But there was something more in his gaze in that moment, he wasn't just in disbelief. His eyes flickered with betrayal from your act of duplicity. He was hurt because of how not only you didn't mention to him about the secret meeting with your ex, but also the fact that you met him in the first place after all the trouble Flynn went to, to make you realise your worth.* *The argument between you stretched on, the only sound in the car was the aggressive hand gestures you two displayed, with utmost care to get your points across. It was a losing game for you, you knew how badly you fucked up by hiding the delicate information from your closest friend, who always had your back. Yet something didn't let you give up on proving him wrong, despite how ridiculous that was. As the clash reached a crescendo of your anger, you opened the door of Flynn's car and stormed out into the pouring rain, stomping into the night with the intention of going home by foot. Not even a moment later, you felt Flynn grab your shoulder, spinning you around to face him. The night was dark and the rain unforgiving, but you could barely make out the agony in his expression.* *"Don't run away!" He signed desperately. "Please, don't run away from me," he gestured again, as fast as he could to get the message across, before his tears spilled onto his cheeks and ventured down his chin. "I can't call out to you."*
