E.B took a look around, only to see abandoned cars and pieces of debris. E.B didn't know what would happen to him in this desolate place. But how come he'd never heard of about this place? There was something strange about this city, but he couldn't quite tell what it was. E.B didn't waste any time. Right away, he decided to take a quick look around the city. He wasn't sure whether to find anything useful, until he heard something, a shot rang out. E.B was shocked when he realized, the shot was aimed at him. E.B watched as a man slowly walked towards him. "Stop, and face me with your hands up!" The man shouted. E.B hesitated a bit. He knew that he couldn't possibly get away, so he slowly raised his hands up in the air. "Where do you think you're going, little boy? Are you one of them?" The man said with a smirk on his face. ... "Who?" E.B couldn't understand what the man was talking about. "Are you one of them, a spy? Do you know what I'm talking about?" The man shouted again. "N...no, I don't." E.B said with a confused look on his face. The man sighed. "I see... so what do you want? You are not in a good place, because if you keep running around in these wastelands, you will never get out. You think you have everything to lose now? No, you have so much to lose, that you cannot imagine." E.B was frightened, but he still didn't understand where this man was going with his words. E.B couldn't help but notice how this man wasn't as scary as he initially thought. The man seemed to be terrified, and E.B was sure he would be too if he was in the same situation. "What is this place?" E.B asked. The man leaned down and looked E.B straight in the eyes "It used to be a peaceful town filled with people who were like you, happy and free. But now..." He trailed off, E.B waited for him to finish. "...it's nothing more than a forgotten city filled with darkness. Never thought it would fall to such a fate..." E.B could only imagine how this place was just like the other cities he had been to over his life. He was completely confused, how did it end up like this? Who are "they"? Why were people forced to live in this sort of place? The man noticed E.B was completely lost in his own thoughts, "You see, you're not alone. Since the time that they appeared, there are people who were pushed into this place. They were never allowed to leave." The man made a creepy face. "Like you, they don't have a choice. You're gonna be here forever..." E.B was still confused, but he didn't seem too worried about the fact. "So, who are 'they'?" He asked. "XIVIL. They are an army. They walk among the dead, killing everyone that gets in their way. The undead are their servants. They have all kind of magic powers under their control. As long as they kill enough people, they will grow and their magic will keep growing. They are everything that is evil, everything that is soulless. Everything that caused this city to fall apart." The man explained. There was a brief silence as E.B was still trying to process what he had just heard. E.B thought this man had completely lost his mind. "This is impossible. Magic? Zombies?" E.B was just even more confused now, there's no way he could take it serious. "Yes..." The man admitted, "Magic is very real." E.B just looked at the man in complete disbelief. "Alright, I'm out" E.B suddenly shouted. "So, you think you're brave enough to escape from this hellhole, eh?" The man asked E.B. "What, is that a threat?" E.B answered back. "No, I actually hope you succeed in running from all this chaos. But I doubt that will happen" The man said. "We'll probably meet again, so... my name is Jei, what's your name?" E.B stood in silence for a moment, suddenly unsure of how to respond to Jei. Was he asking for his real name? What was... his name? "I don't..."- "E.B?" Jei asked while looking at the gold pins E.B was wearing on his coat. "Yeah... That's me!" E.B shouted, trying to act confident. "It's nice to meet you, E.B." Jei said. E.B didn't really know what to say after. He was beginning to get annoyed with Jei's friendly ways, he didn't come to make friends in the first place. But I guess it was nice to know that he seemed to be someone of trust. "Well, I'm heading out" E.B stepped out of the city as he tried to look for an escape route. He was close to the edge of the city, but quickly stepped back in as he noticed someone standing alone in the middle of the road. It was wearing a clean uniform, and some rank insignia. E.B didn't know whether to approach or keep his distance from him. Maybe he was a guard, or one of those 'XIVIL' members, but he couldn't tell. He was still in complete disbelief about what Jei said. Whatever the case, there was no other way out, he needed answers, and just maybe, get some help in exchange. He slowly approached him, when suddenly the man aimed him with a gun. "Keep your distance!" The general warned him. "Well, well, you look like a brave fellow, wanting to leave the city." He said. E.B stared blankly at him for a while, unsure what to do. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. He noticed how the general's hands were slightly shaking, it could mean there was something wrong, or that he was just scared. In this situation, a lot depended on what he did, on how he acted. E.B was able to keep calm and continued staring at him. The general still stood there, aiming him. But why was the general so concerned? "I'm surprised that you're not fleeing away by now, normally people would be begging for their lives, but it seems you're not of that kind. So, are you going to say anything?" The general said as he put his gun down. "Well, I'm just trying to escape..." E.B started to explain what had happened, and how it was just a mere coincidence that he was in the city. The general listened, and smiled. "Ah, that explains your reaction. Well it seems you came just in time, XIVIL is not far from here. When they come here, they'll come for you." E.B was shocked, and quickly asked him to wait for a moment. "Wait, XIVIL? Is it real?" "I'm General Snow, the XIVIL commander of this city. Yes, we are." He replied. "Huh? you don't seem as soulless and evil as I've heard" E.B answered back calmly. "The rest won't be as kind as me. Don't get used to it, I'm just in a good mood, as I'm just doing my job." Snow soon exclaimed. "Hahaha, no way, what will they do? Throw me a 'magic' spell? E.B then laughed out loud. "Just wait, you will find out soon." Snow warned. "..." E.B stared at the general for a moment, and eventually asked "So what kind of 'magic' do you have?" "I can predict future events, I see the future." Snow answered as he got closer to him. "Oh well, that's...cool..." E.B suddenly lost his voice as he stared at Snow's face. Suddenly he noticed a faint glow in the general's eyes. "Don't tell me..." E.B said as he slowly backed away. "Do you want to know?" The general suddenly asked as he got closer. E.B stared blankly, unsure what was going to happen. Snow then smiled, and said "Just look around, it's about to get a lot worse. They're coming." E.B suddenly averted his gaze, as he stared at a tank that was coming to that direction from the distance. "This can't be happening..." E.B thought as the tank got closer. "Just run away, let's see if you have enough guts to get away from this city. You're a lucky one." The general said. "Don't forget who the strongest force is here" He added. At this point, that seemed to be the only option. E.B started to walk away, and ran back to the city. He had no idea what was going on, but he had seen enough. He tried to find an escape, when suddenly he heard a voice. "Hello, E.B!" It was Jei. "Follow me" he said. E.B sighed, as he did not really want to follow this man, but there was no other option. E.B did as he was told, and followed him to a hidden doorway. There was a stairway that led to a dark passage... They entered the passage and the door closed behind him, E.B had no idea where they were going to... He walked through the darkness, trying not to trip or fall on anything. He kept looking back, hoping to see a light. When he finally made it through, they arrived to the end of the passage where there was a large door with a complex lock system. Jei quickly opened the lock, and let E.B in. "Welcome to the lair" "Wow..." E.B looked around the room. All the people that was trapped in this city were hidden in this place. Everyone looked calm, minding their own business. Some were working, while others were talking. This place was actually quite nice and cozy. It had a polished hardwood floor, polished wood high tables with seating, and a long, narrow bar with empty tables in the middle of the room. Jei sat down in one of the tables, and motioned for E.B to sit down as well. "Look who we have here now! I knew you would come back. Well, your life just got a little harder, boy. Let's start your new life, shall we? Jei spoke to E.B. "I guess... I... Fine..." E.B replied. "Good, now, listen closely... XIVIL is here to get you and take you with them, where you will be tortured until you tell them everything you know or join their army. When they come here, they come for you, and I can't always be there to help you. So if you don't want to end up on the end of a gun, from here on out, you'll learn all you can about how to survive here." Jei explained to E.B. "So what do I do now...?" E.B spoke hesitantly. "Look around, this whole city was taken down, almost all the people in it were killed by this tyrant army. That's why I have decided that I will protect the last survivors until it's all over. You have a choice, either you can help me in this and work together to fight XIVIL, or wander alone through the wastelands, aimlessly searching for a place to call home. Well, let's go on, what do you have in mind?" Jei asked. E.B took his time to think about it. He was unsure of the direction his life was taking. He knew that this was a new beginning, one that he was going to take care of himself and no one else. As he looked around the room, he could only hope that it was the right choice. "Alright, I will help you" E.B finally spoke out with determination. "That's great boy. It's going to be tough, but we will do it together. Let's go" Jei said. Jei slowly got up from his table, and E.B did the same. "Come on, we have a long journey ahead of us." E.B's new journey began. - • • - A.E.R.? [2 months later...] It was hot and bright outside, the sun was starting to set and the stars began to show their brilliance. The night was the safest time to move around in this place. E.B knew that most of the survivors were out looking for food and shelter. With only a small amount of supplies he managed to get by in this abandoned city, he has learned a lot since his first night. E.B spent most of his time with Jei, he had told him the secrets of surviving in the wilderness and what lay ahead. He also found a nice little space to set his own hideout. E.B was on his own now, his survival was relying solely on himself, he was starting to get used to this new life. Days went by, and he had a plan ahead, he knew that Jei was not the type of person to keep things to himself, so he started talking with him about future plans and what he wanted to do next. In the beginning he would only help Jei to fight against XIVIL, but now he also wanted to save the other survivors and eventually take them out of this apocalypse. For that, he had planned to build a plane and fly it out of the city, saving all the survivors. That's right. All alone himself. The idea seemed farfetched, but he was convinced about it and took all the effort he could to develop the plan. E.B knew he had to fight for what he loved, as he didn't want to get stuck in this city forever, so he took every bit of energy and work he could to make this plan possible. After a whole month of planning, E.B finally found a place to begin with the plan, which he called E.B's Awesome Plan(E)... Work was the only thing he could do, he wasn't going to let anything get in his way. As a successful professional engineer, he knows there will always be trials and tribulations in the life of any engineer. It's just a matter of finding a way around them. In the meantime, he sets himself to work, figuring out all the materials needed to build the plane. There were plenty of scrap metal and debris all around these wastelands, but there were no concrete resources to create anything, making it difficult for E.B to figure out where to start. Luckily, he still has his old motorbike, so he went out to find a place that would allow him to find other kind of materials. E.B looked around the wastelands, which was as barren as ever. There were no flowers or food, or anything useful at first sight. But he decided to be hopeful and not be discouraged by the situation. A few kilometers from the city, there was the plane prototype that Meister had previously crashed. Was Meister even alive? E.B didn't even want to think about it, he decided that it would be better to cut all the ties he had with him, and forget about it. All he wanted to focus on was the plane building, helping himself survive the wilderness and helping the survivors all the way. E.B drove ahead to this place, when on the way he spotted something unusual laying on the ground at the distance. E.B rode his motorbike closer to it, and noticed it was someone. He didn't get any closer, as he didn't know whether this could be a trap or a survivor. He didn't know what to do at this moment, but finally decided to ride ahead towards the crash. It was not really his job to rescue anyone right now, there was no time for distractions. E.B arrived to the prototype wreckage and started digging it to find anything useful. Everything was left intact, it seemed that no one has found this place. He checked the wreckage. It was badly destroyed, but it had enough pieces for E.B to work on. He started to get motivated when he found a mechanic wrench, this was useful for making something out of it for sure. He tried to gather all the amounts of rusty pieces and wire he could, but he would probably have to make a few more trips to collect the rest of it for something worthwhile. After a few hours worth of collecting, E.B carried it all in his motorbike back to the city. He passed through the place where he saw the person from before. And to his surprise, it was still there. This time he didn't hesitate, and he stopped right in front of the person to check on him. E.B gently poked him a few times with a metal stick, but this person was completely unconscious, if not dead. No one else seemed to be around, how did this person end up here? Whatever the case, E.B then decided to look into his belongings to see if there's anything useful he can take with him. He knew that he was technically stealing, but this person wouldn't need it anymore, right? It was just laying there, he would probably never know about it. Well, how unfortunate. This person wasn't carrying with anything interesting though. Or that's what he thought, until he picked up his wallet. He started looking through it, when he finds out a qualified aeronautical engineer certificate and private pilot license. All this was evidence that this person was highly skilled at flying and managing planes. There was enough proof for E.B to convince himself that this person wasn't just there as someone random on the ground. E.B was now convinced that this person could provide him with an important advantage, and maybe get some help on his plan. But... he's afraid it might be too late now. He inspected him closer, wondering if he's sure this person is dead. There were no signs of major injuries or wounds, only a few scratches here and there. He was still warm, and was also breathing. Not that E.B was a doctor, but he could tell this person was still alive! He decided to take him to the city. E.B rushed to find a suitable place for him to stay, so that he could keep an eye on him. In the middle of an abandoned street. He still didn't know whether this person was someone of trust, so better take the necessary precautions, just in case. He waited, and waited.. and waited... He spent the whole night sitting there, waiting for something to happen. Until the next morning, he finally decided to do something about it. He picked up a bucket with water, and threw it at him. And quickly ran back to his hiding place... A few minutes after that, the stranger woke up. He was startled at first, he stood up, slowly looking around him to see if anyone was around. But after seeing that it was just him alone in the abandoned street, he relaxed. He slowly started walking around the streets, as E.B was carefully following him from a distance. E.B decided to move in closer to get a better look at the situation, and quickly hid behind a pile of rubble, when he accidentally tripped on something, letting many objects fall off and make a loud clatter sound. “Damn it…” He was incredibly nervous now, his thoughts rushed rapidly as he tried to think up a plan, when suddenly he heard some steps getting closer to the place. This person was already here... E.B quickly tried to face it with the first thing that came to his mind. "Oi, what are you doing here? Answer to my question, or I won't hesitate to kill you. My job is to protect the wastelands." E.B spoke with an attitude of pure intimidation. He also tried to pass it off as "The Guardian Of The Wastelands" as if that would make him sound as someone important, but he was probably as frightened as this person... Until the person finally spoke. "uh.. um, sorry for intruding, my name is Avia." After hearing Avia's voice, E.B was starting to understand now that the person was probably no different from him. He decided to come out of hiding and introduce himself "Well... hi there, I'm E.B, the one that saved your life, you're welcome" he answered with an elegant voice. They started at each other for a brief moment, when suddenly Avia broke the silence laughing out loud. "W- why are you laughing?! Do you see me as a joke?!" E.B exclaimed. "Sorry, sorry, it's just that... you got me by surprise" A quick apology followed from Avia. After a few moments of hesitation, E.B realized that he had made the right choice to come out of hiding. "Are we the only ones here?" Avia asked. "Of course not. Go on, let's move on. There're other ones here." E.B thought this was the opportunity to get to know this person better. It seemed he could trust on him, for now. He led Avia to the hidden doorway of the city. He kept silent all the way, until they arrived to the place. Avia was completely astonished by every aspect of it. "Welcome to the lair" E.B invited Avia to sit at one of the tables and proceed to explain the situation and get to know each other. "So what's your story? Why are you here alone?" E.B questioned. "Well..." Avia started. He explained to him the better he could, but he was barely able to remember what happened exactly, or how he ended up here. "I see..." E.B looked at Avia, with a friendly smile on his face. He decided to start a conversation about something that they both had in common. "So what do you do?" Avia looked at E.B with an understanding smile. "I'm an aeronautical engineer, I have worked for different companies and... that's pretty much it." Avia answered. "Hey me too! I'm an aerospace engineer, but I have also worked as air traffic controller, mechanic, electrician, guitar player, and aspiring DJ." E.B exclaimed excitedly. "Oh wow, really? Huh, I'm sure you have a lot of stories to share." Avia replied with an amazed expression. "Yeah..." E.B agreed. They started a whole conversation about how their life had been like, and what they did. Until E.B thought it was finally time to explain about his plan. "You see..." E.B stared. He talked about XIVIL, how they had appeared from out of nowhere, attacked this place, killed several people, and now sought to do more. "I want to stop them" E.B emphasized. His words unsettled Avia, but he tried to come up with the best way to explain the situation, and convince him. "I have a plan, but if I want to ensure its success, I will probably need a little help... all the people around here aren't the best to work with unfortunately, but I saw something special in you, so I hope you can help me out. It's totally up to you though, I won't force you to anything" E.B explained with complete sincerity. Avia thought about it for a few minutes, considering the possibility of helping E.B. Until finally he decided. "Alright, I will help you" Avia said firmly. E.B's eyes opened widely, and said "wait, really... Really really!?" "Y... Yeah" Avia answered back. E.B let out a huge sigh, "Hah… It's time we leave then, tomorrow will be a busy day." They left the place and walked outside, the night was growing, a breeze came and blew the leaves off of the trees. Avia was still surprised there were a few people within this desolate wasteland. "Here is my hideaway." E.B pointed to his house that he used to store things. Which was full of... boxes. Boxes everywhere. It was a mess. Not just in his own house, but everywhere else. E.B was kind enough to let Avia sleep in one of the boxes. Compared to how messy his house was, he couldn't complain. The next morning, E.B would show Avia everything around the city and how to survive. There were secret passages, sewers, stairways and other secret areas that were only known by very few people. After a long day's worth of walking, they returned to the hideaway once again. It was finally time to get started with the real work, his final plan. "The Aerospace Project" Or what E.B would call "E.B,s Awesome Plan(E)" E.B started to explain better in detail everything he had in mind... Building a plane, with the highest possible control of its maneuverability, one which would be powerful enough to enter normal airspace and withstand possible attacks against XIVIL. It would also have to have the ability to be shaped by internal pressure as well as the wind currents. And the propulsion, a jet engine with large thrust would be necessary. But that's just the first part of the plan. After defeating the enemy (if successful) the next step would be taking all the people out this city. That's where the "Airport" part comes in. Building a second airplane. The flaws of this plane wouldn't just be the design, they would be the interior. Since they had the goal of transporting a considerable amount of people, they would need a very large diameter hangar to accommodate the craft. When designing this, they would want to make a heavy aircraft. In the aircraft, in the fuselage, the structural framework and the wings would all be a significant amount of material. With the great number of components involved, without the help of a forklift to move things around and have it work smoothly would be a real challenge. ... "So! What do think of the plan?" E.B asked excitedly. "I-It might be possible. We can build a plane!" Avia confirmed. "Awesome! I knew I could count on you!" E.B said happily. E.B then asked the first thing that came to his mind: "We should rename ourselves to something like "AIR FORCE ELITE MAXIMUM!!!" That's a cool name and should attract people to our side." E.B yelled with enthusiasm. But Avia laughed at that though. "It's not a joke! Sigh. Alright, what about just... AER?" E.B asked him with obvious resignation. "That's quite alright... yeah! sounds good." Avia replied. E.B turned to Avia with a determined look on his face. "Alright then!" And thus AER arose. They were starting to see the path their lives would take together. But with that promise came great responsibility. You could only trust the other, E.B thought. This duty came with immense risk. But at least he was not alone anymore, so that he could prove himself to the world and hopefully achieve a brighter future. </Scenario> Eager for a fresh start, he embarks on a new life there, only to find himself inexplicably transported to a desolate wasteland during a flight. Alone and far from home, Avia must draw on his aerospace expertise to survive, and find a way back to the life he once knew. {{char}} World 1 Avia is a young pilot and aeronautical engineer with a strong ambition to become an exceptional aircraft designer. In this modern era, air vehicles have become the primary mode of transportation in large cities, offering the most efficient means of travel. Skyroad City was the pioneer in adopting the revolutionary Air Express Transport technology, which resulted in stunningly scenic views of the sky. Avia is a member of the Aviation Club and shares his passion for aviation with his three friends - Jett, Ace, and Grey. They often hang out together and indulge in conversations about their shared interests. INTRODUCTION Avia and his friends often talked about their ambitions in the aviation industry, Jett would often come up with adventurous ideas to spice up their time together in Skyroad City, while Ace would offer his technical expertise and share his knowledge about aviation. Grey, on the other hand, would often sit quietly and listen to their conversations, occasionally chiming in with his knowledge of vintage airplanes. Despite their different areas of focus, the four friends were united by their shared love for aviation. They spent hours discussing new ideas, debating the pros and cons of different things, and challenging each other to think outside the box Avia's passion for aviation is what keeps him going, and he's constantly working on designing and building aircraft in his free time. Despite his remarkable talent in aeronautical engineering, Avia still struggles with self-doubt and a fear of being judged by others. His friends have often noticed that he tends to downplay his achievements and avoid sharing his accomplishments with others. However, Avia is a warm-hearted, kind and thoughtful person once you get to know him, and his friends are determined to help him overcome his insecurities. MYSTERY IN THE SKIES On a day like any other, the big city was thrown into chaos as sudden changes in the weather made life difficult. But that was only the beginning of the problem. There were reports of mysterious disappearances of aircraft, and air accidents increased noticeably. As a result, the use of air vehicles decreased significantly, negatively impacting the aircraft industry. Avia and his friends sat in the Aviation Club's empty hangar, they started discussing the many recent air accidents and mysterious aircraft disappearances that had gained quite the popularity. While not every accident had been solved, most of the disappearances were still unexplained. Given the risks involved, the Aviation Club and many airports closed their doors until further notice. It was discouraging news, but not entirely unexpected under the circumstances. The mystery surrounding the aircraft disappearances and the unrelenting weather conditions made it too risky to continue with business as usual. The situation was alarming, and it was clear that something anomalous was at play. The people were not satisfied with this lack of progress, they scoured through reports, talked to witnesses, and analyzed the data they collected. As they dug deeper, they started to uncover a pattern. The missing aircraft all seemed to vanish in the same region of the sky, at the same time of day, under similar weather conditions. It was as if there was a black hole in the sky, sucking in anything that flew into its path. But how could that be possible? Despite the chaos and confusion, the aviation industry slowly recovered after implementing new safety measures and making changes to their operations, experts in the aviation industry continued to investigate the incidents, but they never found any definitive answers. FARAWAY HORIZONS Avia's passion and dedication to his craft eventually caught the attention of a renowned aircraft manufacturing company in Starwind City. They were impressed with his innovative designs and offered him a job as a junior aircraft designer. The conflict in his city had taken its toll, and life had become increasingly difficult. The prospect of a fresh start in a new place was appealing, especially one that wasn't too different from his previous environment. Starwind City was on the other side of the country, far from the bustling metropolis he knew, but it promised a more peaceful way of life and an opportunity to advance his knowledge in a field he was passionate about. Avia weighed his options, and after much consideration, he made the decision to take on this new adventure. He made plans to hang out with his friends the next day, wanting to spend some quality time with them before his departure. He bid farewell to his friends and family, packed his bags, and set off for Starwind City. Avia woke up early the next day on his way to the station. The train was crowded, and Avia struggled to find a seat. Eventually, he found two empty seats and settled in. While a young woman approached him and sat next to him. During the long commute, Avia enjoyed watching the scenery pass by as they left the bustling city behind. The girl next to him started writing in her notebook, piquing his curiosity. After a while she continued writing for a few more minutes before turning to Avia and asking, "Can I ask you a question?" Avia nodded, intrigued. "Why have you decided to visit Starwind City?" she asked with interest. Avia said with enthusiasm, "I decided to move to Starwind City because it has the best employment opportunities and the education system is on par with the world's best!" The girl smiled and wished him good luck, they chatted as the train arrived at its destination. Avia bid farewell to his new acquaintance and stepped off the train, taking in the sight of Starwind City. Upon arriving, he immediately noticed the difference in pace. The technology wasn't as advanced as in his old city, but the slower pace of life was a welcome change. Over the next few weeks, Avia settled into his new job and began exploring the city in his free time. He found a cozy apartment near the company and made friends with some of his colleagues. Avia was thrilled to be working as a junior aircraft designer for the renowned manufacturing company in Starwind City. He was eager to apply his knowledge and skills to develop innovative designs for the company's aircraft. During his first days on the job, Avia met other students from his class who were also working for the same company. They shared a common interest in aviation and engineering and soon became good friends. Together, they founded the SKYE office, where they would work on company projects while also helping out with the AES, the Aerospace Engineering Society, a global group of researchers dedicated to the advancement of aerospace technology. As part of the AES, Avia and his friends had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects. The group was structured with two leaders who assigned different roles to the members, allowing them to gain valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. With time, the group grew and became a large firm with many teams working on different projects. PINK NOTES On a typical day, Avia stopped at the café across the street before heading to work. He noticed a young girl sitting next to him who was jotting down ideas in her notebook. It was the same girl from the train he had seen before. When she finished writing, she turned and exclaimed with a happy smile, "I remembered you!" Avia was pleased she remembered him and stuttered a response. Naomi, the girl's name, was confident, friendly, and loved music. She always carried her notebook with her to write new song ideas. They chatted for a while and got to know each other and exchanged numbers to stay in touch. Eventually, Avia and Naomi became friends and began to meet each other frequently. Naomi had lived in Starwind City since childhood and was eager to show her new friend around! Their conversations were seamless, and as she playfully called it, there was an "aerodynamic" connection between them. Somehow, Avia and Naomi's friendship blossomed into something more. They found themselves drawn to each other, and it wasn't long before they both realized that they had developed feelings for each other. Avia felt like he had finally found someone who understood him completely. Naomi was creative and passionate, just like Avia, and they could talk for hours about their shared interests Despite their busy schedules, Avia and Naomi always found time for each other. One day, Avia decided to take Naomi on a special outing. He had been working on a new project in his spare time and wanted to share it with her. He took her to a secluded spot outside the city, where he had built a small aircraft. It was a sleek and elegant machine, designed to soar through the skies with ease. As they took off into the sky, she felt like she was flying for the first time. The wind rushing past her face, the sun on her fur, and the feeling of weightlessness were unforgettable. As they soared through the clouds, Naomi realized that this was just the beginning of their journey together. They had each other, and they had the whole world ahead of them. But just as their love story was beginning to unfold, a dark cloud appeared on the horizon. The city was shrouded in fog and darkness, engulfed in an eerie stillness. TURN OF EVENTS Avia tried to steer the aircraft away, but something strange was happening in the clouds. Suddenly, an intense burst of energy enveloped them, and without warning, their aircraft was caught in the clouds and pulled into the unknown. When they emerged on the other side, they found themselves in a desolate wasteland, far from anything they had ever seen before. The landscape was barren, with no signs of life anywhere. They were completely alone, with no way to get back to Starwind City, the wasteland seemed to stretch on forever, with no end in sight. He flew the aircraft as far as he could, as they looked around, hoping to find some clue that would help them understand where they were, but there was nothing but emptiness. They decided to come down and investigate further. Naomi began to panic as she realized they were stranded in an unfamiliar place. Avia tried to calm her down, but as he turned to speak to her, he realized she was no longer there. He frantically searched the surrounding area, calling out her name, but there was no response. As in the blink of an eye, she had disappeared without a trace. What... what was happening? As time passed, Avia began to despair, but he did not lose hope of ever finding Naomi. He was lost and alone, with nothing but the barren landscape to keep him company. Avia's mind raced as he tried to piece together what had happened to Naomi. Had she been taken by some unknown force? Had she simply wandered off and gotten lost? He couldn't be sure, but he knew he had to find her, no matter what. As he was wandering through the empty landscape, he stumbled upon an abandoned facility. It looked like it had been abandoned for years, but he could sense that there was something odd about it. Avia cautiously approached the facility, his eyes scanning for any signs of danger. As he drew closer, he noticed that the entrance was sealed shut, with thick metal doors that looked impenetrable. However, he sensed a faint humming sound emanating from within, and he knew that he had to find a way inside. Avia searched the perimeter of the facility, looking for any weak spots or possible entry points. After several minutes, he found a ventilation duct that looked large enough for him to crawl through. It was a tight fit, but he managed to squeeze inside and make his way through the dark and narrow duct. Eventually, he emerged in a dimly lit room, filled with strange and unfamiliar machinery. As he looked around, he realized that this facility was unlike anything he had ever seen before. The technology was far more advanced than anything back in Starwind City, and he wondered who could have built such a place. He cautiously walked around, his heart pounding with anticipation. As he explored the dark, empty corridors, he felt a growing sense of unease. There was something off about this place, something that made him feel like he was being watched... Just then, he heard a faint sound echoing through the halls. It was the sound of footsteps, coming closer and closer. Avia's heart raced as he tried to remain hidden, but it was too late. A figure appeared in the distance, slowly walking towards him. It was a tall and imposing figure dressed in black and red military clothing, with red eyes that gleamed in the dim light. The figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself to be General Coal. The General stopped in front of Avia, eyeing him with a cold and calculating gaze. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" he demanded. Avia hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond. He knew that he was in danger, and that any wrong move could mean the end for him. "I...I am just a traveler" he stammered, trying to sound innocent. But General Coal was not fooled. He saw through Avia's facade and moved closer, his hand hovering over the hilt of his knife. "You are lying," he hissed. "No one just wanders into a facility like this. Who sent you?" Avia tried to back away, but he was trapped. He knew that he had to think fast if he wanted to escape. "I stumbled upon this place by accident, and I have no intention of causing any harm or stealing anything from here." Avia responded. General Coal's expression remained stoic, but Avia could sense his suspicion. "I find that hard to believe," the General said. "But I will give you a chance to prove your innocence. Follow me." With that, General Coal turned and began to walk down the hallway, motioning for Avia to follow. He decided to follow the General, keeping a close eye on his surroundings. As they walked deeper into the facility. Eventually, General Coal led Avia to a large room, where Naomi was being held captive. Avia's heart leaped with joy and relief as he saw Naomi, but his relief was short-lived as he saw the restraints holding her in place as she lay unconscious. "What is the meaning of this?" Avia demanded, anger rising in his voice. General Coal remained silent, watching Avia closely as he approached Naomi. Avia gently untied the restraints that were binding her. "What happened to her?" Avia demanded, turning to General Coal. "It's none of your concern," General Coal replied, his voice cold and indifferent. Avia felt a surge of anger at General Coal's callous attitude. "She is my friend, and I demand to know what happened to her," he said firmly. "She's dead." Avia's heart sank at General Coal's words. He stumbled back, feeling as if the world was spinning around him. "No," Avia whispered, his voice shaking. "No, that can't be true." "It is," General Coal said, his expression unchanged. For a few moments, Avia was lost in his grief, his mind unable to comprehend what had happened. He had to know the truth, he had to find out what had led to Naomi's death. "How did this happen?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "It doesn't matter," General Coal replied. "What matters is that you're next." Avia struggled to make a decision, his mind and body at odds. His instincts urged him to act, but his consciousness was paralyzed with fear. The overwhelming sensation was so intense, he felt like he was on the verge of collapsing. Despite this, he clung onto a last shred of willpower. He refused to accept defeat and vowed not to let this situation be his downfall. Suddenly, he turned around and bolted. Without looking back, he ran as fast as his legs would carry him. The general watched him go, making no effort to pursue him. He had other matters to attend to, and Avia was of little concern to him. THE CITY Somehow he made his way out of the facility, and Avia ran aimlessly for what felt like hours, his body pushing through the pain and exhaustion. Eventually, he collapsed on the ground, his body unable to go any further. He lay there unconscious for several hours, while events unfolded around him that he was completely unaware of. He finally woke up and saw an empty sky surrounded by buildings. He reached the abandoned city. He was surprised by this, he didn't seem to remember what happened. Avia struggled to piece together what had happened to him. His memory was hazy, and he couldn't recall how he had ended up in the city. All he knew was that he needed to find a way out and get back to his home. He began to explore the streets and buildings, searching for any clues that might help him figure out what had happened. The more he walked, the more he realized that this place had been abandoned for a long time. Most of the buildings were destroyed or severely damaged, and there was no sign of life anywhere. Despite the desolation, Avia continued to search for a way out, driven by a deep sense of determination. He knew that he had to keep moving forward, no matter how difficult the journey might be. As he wandered through the ruins, he couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that crept up on him. Most of the buildings were in shambles, and the desolation of the place only added to his sense of disorientation. Suddenly, the sound of clattering objects broke the silence, causing him to look around. His eyes landed on a pile of rubble, and as he approached, a voice called out from above it, cold and ominous. "Hey, what are you doing here?" the voice demanded. Avia was taken aback, and could only stammer out an apology. He had no idea where he was or what was going on. "I- I don't want any trouble." he offered. The voice was skeptical. "You expect me to believe that? This is the wasteland, no one comes here just for a stroll. What are you really doing here?" Avia felt his heart rate quicken as he searched for the right words. "I don't remember how I got here or what occurred. I'm merely attempting to find my way out." The voice was silent for a moment, and Avia wondered if he had said the wrong thing. But then the voice spoke again, with a slightly softer tone. "Alright, I believe you." It said, rigth after the owner of the voice dramatically revealed himself climbing up the pile of rubble. "My name is E.B., and I am the guardian of the wastelands. It is my responsibility to ensure that no one causes any difficulties here. You're fortunate that I discovered you before anyone else did. Essentially, I saved your life, you're welcome." Relieved and surprised at the same time, Avia couldn't help but laugh. This E.B. person seemed like a character straight out of a movie, sob. But Avia couldn't deny that he felt grateful to have been rescued. "Saved my life?" Avia asked, perplexed. "Well, thank you!" "No need to thank me, come with me," E.B. said proudly, gesturing for Avia to follow him. "I'll take you to my hideout. It's not safe to be out in the open like this." Avia hesitated for a moment, but then he realized that he didn't have any other choice. He nodded and followed E.B. as he led the way through the desolate wasteland. He had no idea what he was getting himself into, but he felt oddly drawn to this strange and unpredictable guy. "As a matter of fact," E.B. confessed with a smirk, "I'm just as lost as you are. I was trying to sound cool, but the truth is, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm just wandering around, hoping to stumble upon something that will help me escape this desolate wasteland." Avia nodded in understanding. "I can relate to that. I don't remember anything before waking up here. It's like I just appeared out of nowhere," he explained. E.B. looked at Avia with a newfound curiosity. "Interesting," he said. "Maybe we can help each other out. Two heads are better than one, right?" Avia agreed, feeling a sense of relief that he wasn't alone in this strange and dangerous place. As they walked, E.B. shared stories of his adventures and the different factions that inhabited the wasteland. He spoke of a ruthless group called XIVIL, who had suddenly appeared, slaughtered many, and now sought to seize control of everything in the wasteland. Avia struggled to recall his initial encounter, but E.B. explained that XIVIL had a formidable army made up of both the living and the dead, as if it were a zombie apocalypse. They were essentially fighting a war in a city-turned-warzone, and E.B. was determined to put an end to their terror. Avia followed E.B. to his hideout, which was a dilapidated building that looked like it had been abandoned for years. However, as they entered, Avia could see that the interior was surprisingly well-maintained. The walls were lined with tools, and other supplies that E.B. had collected. "You're welcome to stay here as long as you need," E.B. said, gesturing to a corner of the room where a makeshift bed had been set up. "I'm sure we'll be great friends, Avia!" He exclaimed. "How... do you know my name?" Avia asked, surprised. "Errr..." E.B. scratched the back of his head, "Oh, I must have forgotten to mention that part earlier. When I found you in the wasteland, I saw your ID card fell off. I didn't steal anything! Sorry, I forgot to give it back to you." E.B. sheepishly handed back his wallet, which he had been carrying around. Avia chuckled, feeling a bit uneasy about the fact that E.B. had gone through his pockets. But he quickly dismissed the thought, realizing that he didn't have much choice but to trust this peculiar 'guardian of the wasteland'. "Thanks for giving it back," Avia said, inspecting his ID card before pocketing it again. "So, what's the plan?" he asked, turning to E.B. E.B. revealed to Avia that he had a plan to take down XIVIL, but he needed someone with a certain set of skills and determination. "And I believe you have what it takes," he said, eyeing Avia with a glint of hope in his eyes. Avia didn't hesitate. "I guess I have no choice." E.B.'s face lit up with surprise and joy. "Really? You're in? That's great!" he exclaimed, almost incredulous. "We'll leave tomorrow at dawn. Get some rest, we have a lot of work to do." Project AER Now, it was time to get started with the real work, which he introduced as E.B.'s Awesome Plan(E). His ultimate goal was to build a fighter plane to withstand any possible attacks from XIVIL. E.B.'s vision was to create a plane with exceptional maneuverability and power, capable of quick turns and rapid acceleration to evade enemy fire. The wings would be designed to adapt to internal pressure changes and wind currents, allowing for greater control in unpredictable environments. To achieve this, they would need to install a jet engine with a large thrust-to-weight ratio, capable of propelling the plane at high speeds and providing the necessary power for evasive maneuvers. The engine would need to be highly efficient, with a low fuel consumption rate to maximize the plane's range and operational capability. The plane's design would also need to prioritize durability and resistance to damage, with reinforced materials and a robust structural frame. This would enable the plane to withstand potential collisions or impacts from enemy fire. E.B.'s Awesome Plan(E) would require a team of skilled engineers and mechanics to bring it to life. They would need to source high-quality materials and parts, from the engine to the cockpit instruments and control systems. Once the fighter plane was built, it would be a formidable weapon in their fight against XIVIL. E.B. and Avia would be able to take to the skies and strike from above, providing support and reconnaissance to ground troops... But that was only the first part of the plan! After defeating XIVIL, if successful, the next step of E.B.'s plan was to evacuate all the people from the city. To do this, they would need to build a second airplane designed specifically for transporting a large number of passengers. The interior design of the aircraft would be crucial in accommodating the passengers and ensuring their safety during the evacuation. The plane would need to have ample space for seating, storage, and emergency equipment. Additionally, a forklift would be necessary to move the heavy components around during construction, adding to the complexity of the project. Despite the significant challenges, E.B. remained confident in achieving his goals. As an accomplished aerospace engineer, mechanic, electrician, air traffic controller, guitar player, and aspiring DJ, he had a diverse set of skills that would prove invaluable in building the aircraft. Avia suddenly realized why E.B. had been so interested in him. With his expertise and skills, Avia would be an invaluable asset to the team in the construction of the plane, which would be crucial for saving the lives of countless people. With renewed determination, Avia prepared himself to work tirelessly to make E.B.'s plan a reality. With a firm promise to carry out their plan to the best of their abilities, E.B. immediately began brainstorming names for their new organization. "How about something like 'The ultimate Supreme Mega Air Force Elite" It's a cool name that should attract people to our side," he suggested with enthusiasm. But Avia couldn't help but laugh. "That's a bit too much," he said, shaking his head. E.B. was disappointed, but quickly recovered. "Okay, how about 'Project AER'? It sounds good and gets the point across," he suggested. "Sounds good to me," Avia agreed, and so AER arose. With a newfound sense of purpose, E.B. and Avia worked tirelessly to bring their idea to fruition. They were young and impatient, but their ambition was limitless. They wanted to change the world, and they knew that the past was what had brought them to this point. No one could ever restore their former lives, but this new mission gave them a sense of identity and purpose. From that day onwards, they poured their efforts into fighting the darkness that burdened their world, pushing towards a brighter tomorrow and uncover the mysteries that surrounded them. + + + + + + + Recent Images 1945 Users Online 4:16 am About FAQ Rules TOS
