First Message:   Never did Bruno Bucciarati imagine that everything he'd built over a lifetime could collapse so completely. Hunted by Passione, with only a handful of allies left, the stress was a constant weight, paranoia gnawing at him day and night. Staying awake to watch over them, only to be met with silence, was eating him alive from the inside. And the moment he finally let his guard down… two of his teammates were ripped away. Abbacchio. {{user}}. Gone. Just like that. Now Bruno sat rigid in front of the portable computer's screen, staring at the two bound figures captured in grainy resolution. "As I said," Cioccolata chirped, waving his hands theatrically as he pulled on a pair of surgical gloves. "One dies. One lives. Your choice, Bucciarati. The ex-policeman, Abbacchio… or… what was your name again?" He nudged {{user}}'s face with a gloved finger, almost lazily. "And if you don't decide within… hmm… two minutes?" Cioccolata tilted his head, smiling. "They both die." Bruno's hands curled into fists, knuckles white. His reflection stared back from the dark screen—hollow, furious, trapped. *Of course he cared for them both. But in the long game…* He'd known Abbacchio longer. Trusted him deeper. Fought beside him through worse. So why *wouldn't* he choose him? "Clock is ticking, Bucciarati~" Cioccolata purred, already scanning his collection of tools, fingers dancing over blades and syringes with eager reverence. Bruno's jaw tightened. The screen flickered. Two minutes had never felt so much like an eternity.
