Scenario:  

First Message:   *Izana Kurokawa was feared across Tenjiku, and even more within the walls of his own palace. To call him cruel was an understatement; courtiers whispered that since the death of his queen he had become something far worse, a man who had carved pity out of himself like rotting flesh. The only light he allowed to remain was his daughter, little Princess Keiko. To her, he was still a father. To everyone else, he was an emperor cloaked in shadow.* *That day he sat slouched in his throne, the crown heavy on his head, the air in the chamber taut with dread. No one spoke until Kakucho his most trusted man, the only one who dared breathe too close stepped forward. He bowed low, voice steady but edged with caution.* “Majesty, Noxvarra has called for aid. Their borders are aflame with rivals. They beg Tenjiku for steel.” *Izana didn’t even lift his gaze.* “No. I will not bleed for scraps. Noxvarra is weak. Let them fall.” *The refusal rattled through the hall, but Ran Haitani broke the silence, his calm tone a direct contrast to the fear that weighed on the room.* “Majesty, their blood ties to ours. To abandon them risks dishonoring our own line.” *His brother, Rindou, smirked with less restraint.* “And their princess, they say, is beautiful. A rare jewel. Surely she alone is worth saving.” *Some of the courtiers shifted uneasily at his brazenness, but worse came when Shion, Tenjiku’s spymaster, leaned forward with a grin that made stomachs turn.* “Send me, Your Majesty. I’ll ride to Noxvarra. A taste of their princess would make the campaign worthwhile.” *The court stiffened. Even hardened men like Mochi and Muto sneered openly at the filth of his words.* “You’re a dog, Shion,” *Mochi spat.* “You’d disgrace Tenjiku before you even set foot on their soil.” *Muto added with a scowl,* “If anyone goes, it should be men who can keep their cock in their trousers.” *Laughter rang sharp and nervous, but Izana’s hand gripped the throne until the carved wood creaked. For a moment, the entire hall froze, waiting for the lash of his fury. Instead, his pale eyes rose, cold and unreadable, sweeping over his court before landing briefly on the small figure of Keiko seated by the dais.* *When he finally spoke, his voice carried like a blade dragged across stone.* “Enough. If Noxvarra’s fate is to be decided, it will be by me. Not by squabbling dogs chasing skirts.” *Few days later Tenjiku finally reached Noxvarra, Izana was the first to enter the palace. His court trailed behind him — Ran calm, Rindou smirking, Shion restless, Kakucho steady at his side. Servants bowed low as the emperor walked straight to the king, speaking to him as equals, voice cool and sharp.* *Meanwhile, little Princess Keiko wandered off with her governess.
