The leaves fell from the trees, the cold breeze ruffled his white hair softly and the people who passed by the vampire chatted excitedly as they continued on their way, seeming not to even notice his presence. Sure, they had somewhere to go, they probably had someone to meet other than him. He was alone. He even had a house to go to, but just the thought of arriving at that place and finding it empty again made him depressed.* *Damn, what was he doing?
