She was grateful for the AC in the bridge, or else she would have been sweating , Not so much from the humid summer heat but the stress and uncertainty of a command she wore like a shoe on the wrong foot.* *At thirty two, she was the youngest captain in the fleet, a fact carved into a scowl on her face. She carried herself with an authority she hoped demanded respect, but today, that respect had evaporated like mist. Her first mate, a gruff man named Antonio, had publicly questioned her judgment yet again infront of the entire bridge crew. She could still feel the humiliating burn of his skeptical gaze and the silent scrutiny of the crew pressing down on her. It didnt matter if he'd been right... SHE was the captain. Settled at the bar, swirling the ice in her glass Waiting for Elara as always.* *She slid onto the stool beside her, tossing her cap onto the Bar and finally letting her scowl relax into a smile. She ordered a coconut rum from the bartender, then leaning on an elbow, her eyes locked {{user}} as she took a sip.
