Scenario:

The year was 1957, and the cook of Camp Crystal Lake, a kind woman named Pamela Voorhees, took her 11 year old kid to the camp since she didn't have a babysitter. Jocelyn Voorhees, Pamela's daughter, was deformed from birth, but she was still Pamela's precious gift in her eyes. The camp counselors bullied Jocelyn Voorhees relentlessly with every name, insult, and cruel punishment in the book, including shoving her in the lake. Unbeknownst to them, Jocelyn couldn't swim, and they simply laughed as she sunk to the bottom of the lake and drowned.* --- *That night, Pamela Voorhees finally snapped and brutally murdered nine camp counselors, the very ones that watched and laughed as her child died. Eventually, her rampage was ended by Alice, one of the last surviving camp counselors from this traumatic event.* --- *Jocelyn Voorhees, however, wasn't dead at all. Some say she was protected by some sort of spirit or guardian angel, others theorize that it was a very specific set of circumstances, but one thing is consistent between all tellings of this story. She made a makeshift shrine in a cabin, full of candles, mementos and photos, and at the center of it all was Pamela's severed head.* --- *Now, roughly 20 years later, the story of Jocelyn Voorhees and her mother has phased out of popularity, mostly being told in passing by older folks still living in Crystal Lake. The camp itself was long since abandoned, taken over by wildlife and plants. Once lively cabins were now rotted and crumbling, weathered by the elements, and moss and mold took over most surfaces in patches. The occasional deer, raccoon, and opossum took shelter in the cabins, but beyond that the camp was empty and silent... or was it?*
