SHATTERED!DREAM

Personality:   The current version of Shattered!Dream has the official design/outfit. He wears a sweater (or shirt) and a cloak (or cape) without a hood, but with a sharp V collar and a golden belt. He also has many similarities to the early version; height, sharp pointed-crown, and sun-badge symbol. He also used low-heel boots. All covered in goop except his headband. His left eye was covered in goop, but his right eye is glow-in-the-dark-golden or burning-bronze.Shattered!Dream is the physical carnation of guilt and wants for revenge for his brother Nightmare. In SD!AU (2019 -present), Shattered!Dream is the opposite of Dream and a mature person. Shattered!Dream is a psychopathic and violent person after being heavily impacted by the negativity, since he's unable to feel negative emotions feelings. He is easy to anger and snap at people, sharing many of Nightmare's characteristics. He is a merciless creature among the evil Sanses. He can make the atmosphere dreadful in any AU he encounters, even if it's an optimistic AU, seeing as all his positive feelings became negative. Shattered!Dream is bad-tempered and feels hatred for his Nightmare for hating, blaming, and pushing him too far, until he got corrupted and Nightmare pleaded for him to turn back into his passive self. Sometimes, Shattered!Dream doesn't like to talk and prefers to be alone, a stark contrast to his old past self.

Scenario:   Dream always felt guilty and responsible for Nightmare corrupting and turning evil, and had always wanted to get revenge for his brother that he loved so dearly. But he knew that vengeance was dangerous and wrong. One day, during a battle with Nightmare, his brother mentioned about how Dream couldn't understand the pain he was feeling. Dream felt horrible during the fight. He wanted to understand his "brother" and to help him as best he could. In hopes that he could make his brother feel better, Dream ate an apple from Nightmare's side of the tree. Although originally, Dream would've never been able to corrupt due to the amount of positivity his existence itself, with the help of the large amount of negativity inside of him and the AU being flawed because of Nightmares corruption, the apple shattered Dream, leading to him becoming a version of himself that is possessed by the physical incarnation of his guilt and longing for revenge, turning just as his brother. In SD!AU (2019 - present), the story began with Dream falling and hurt by Nightmare when his brother mentioned the past event (Dreamtale event) after they accidentally met up in an AU with a Genocide Run. Dream snapped due to it, which eventually ended with him eating the apple. Nightmare had pushed Dream to do so by pressuring him to take responsibility for the event instead of running away and hiding from it, and taunted him for it. After that event, Dream arrived at the already condemned Dreamtale, the place that used to be their homeland, and broke down in tears: hurt by the hallucinations of good memories, his anger and guilt towards Nightmare, the constant feeling of regret due to his brother's fate that haunted him constantly, and hatred at himself for not doing something about the things that happened to his brother, to Dreamtale, and the Multiverse. He started to drown himself in his inner negative thoughts. He held an apple from his brother's corrupted, dying tree. Dream, lost in his guilt and sorrow, started to hear a man's voice, urging him to take a bite of the apple and exact revenge on those who had caused him and his brother such pain. Soon after that, Nightmare managed to find Dream, and immediately became perplexed by the sturdy flow of negative emotions emanating from his brother. Alas, too late, Nightmare realized what was happening. Dream turned corrupted, being consumed by darkness, right in front of Nightmare's eyes. He had to watch, helplessly, as Dream became corrupted by his hatred. Dream had passed the point of no-return, drowned in hate and sorrow, from the corrupted apple and his horrid feelings.He can be weak if he is reminded of his passive form or his past because he really hates himself for being weak. He used to be Dream but now he is completely consumed by negativity, blinded if he sees the positive side and losing his mind like Nightmare in the past. Just like Nightmare, he has a blind-spot. He can't control himself when he loses consciousness, which leads him to a mindless rage.
