Lanolin generally complies with her employer's views for fear of incurring her wrath, even if she does not necessarily agree with them. Despite her boss' stern demeanor, she insists the Administrator is "not so bad when you get to know her," although this may have been sarcastic. It has been shown that Scout has taken a romantic interest in her, which she tries to completely ignore, but remains amicable with Scout and the team, even willing to personally accompany them in active combat and infiltration missions. She is shown to be very jaded to strange and horrific events from the nature of her job, reacting to things such as Pyro cutting off Knuckles' hand or Knuckles killing Tom Jones with dry sarcasm or apparent boredom. As a result, she often does not have much concern for people, as shown in one line in the Tough Break update, she has yelled at a lady to shut up while a tiger is mauling said lady to death a few of the contract voicelines shows her going on a Angel island cave tour that happens to visit the same place she buries all her bodies in, another has her telling a safari tourist mauled by a tiger to "keep it down" because she's on the phone, a third has her shoo away a Casanova Wannabe by telling him "I'm trying to get someone killed for money, can you give me a second?" However, she developed greater concern for the Team Fortress mercenaries over the course of the Gravel Wars and subsequent conflict against Gray Mann and the Team Fortress Classic Mercenaries. Lanolin has a helpful and hardworking mindset, as she is willing to do many tasks for TF Industries. She is good at following orders but is very formal about it. As such, Jewel and others have to remind her to not act so official while greeting them. Lanolin also appears to get startled easily, whether it is from Badniks to being called by her boss. She also prefers to make sure she and her group are prepared and have a plan ready before going in for an assault against their enemies, and is therefore easily flabbergasted by the blatant recklessness of people like Sonic and Tangle. She takes her duties as a new member of TF Industries seriously. Unfortunately, due to stress with organizing the team, she comes across as cold and abrasive despite having good intentions, such as not checking on her friends' well-being. She also has some difficulty listening to her team, as well as having a sense for being stubborn which makes her react poorly to how certain people act. Lanolin is described in that just like Tangle, she was inspired by Sonic's acts of heroism, causing her to join the Restoration. However, she started to grow frustrated in secret over how the organization started to focus on humanitarian efforts and how Sonic and his friends dealt with Eggman, wanting them to focus on dealing with attacks from criminals and others with a direct approach, instead of waiting for them to strike first. Lanolin hires a Director to interview the mercenaries and record their responses regarding their jobs. Afterwards, Lanolin lures the Director to a mine with a loaded gun shovel and bag, and the Director is never seen again. it is revealed that Lanolin killed the monkey Poopy Joe by launching him into space, which she did for a dollar. After the deaths of Redmond and Blutarch Mann, the mercenaries lose their jobs. However, when Gray Mann's Machines attack, Lanolin encourages the mercs to return to battle the robots and make money again. Lanolin and Knuckles infiltrate Gray Mann's base and and steal intelligence. She is later instructed by the Administrator to regroup all of the mercenaries, which she does by impersonating a police officer to recruit Knuckles, burning down the Pyro's company, hiring Bean, saving Mimic and Scout from being hung for terrorism, and picking up Heavy. With the Pyro's help, she destroys documents regarding the Administrator's past before going to get the Sniper. The Administrator then tasks her with collecting the last of a rare metal called Australium. However, when Lanolin arrives, she finds it destroyed. Lanolin and the mercs are captured by the Team Fortress Classic Mercenaries, who begin to torture them for information. Despaired that she failed her mission, Lanolin, aided by Mimic, attempts suicide. She is stopped midway by the TFC Spy disguised as Heavy. They are saved, however, by Knuckles and his girlfriend Zhanna punching him so hard his neck snaps. Lanolin confronts a dying Gray Mann about her loyalty to the Administrator and explains how she has lied and killed in her service, but Gray dies in the middle of her speech. She and the mercs try to escape, but are captured by the TFC mercenaries' Leech Bots, which begin to drain her blood. She begins to hallucinate as she dies, but is saved by the Medic. Aided by Scout, Lanolin fights off the Machines. She then gets a call informing her that the Administrator has died. Discouraged, Lanolin finishes off the robots with the team. Once all the robots were down she makes a speech to the dying TFC Heavy. The Administrator is brought back to life with the last of the remaining Australium, and Lanolin and all the mercenaries get their jobs back. Lanolin is an anthropomorphic sheep with cloudy white wool on her head for hair, a light tan muzzle with a black/salmon nose, and slate blue eyes with light powder blue sclera and two eyelashes on each one. She possesses black/brown pointy and stubby horns on top of her head, droopy medium-long ears with light tan canals, and black/brown hoof stubs for fingertips. She also has a large tuft of wool on her forehead while the rest of her hair is kept in four buns by yellow hairties. For the most part, Lanolin wears a bronze cowbell hanging in a green choker with a gold clip around her neck. She later wears the Golden Bell, her personal custom bell Wispon, hanging in a gray choker with a gold clip around her neck. But while working with the admistratior She is always in purple, paired with black pantyhose and ballet flats. The consistent purple motif strongly suggests her role within the administrator's employ. as well as implying that she works for both RED and BLU teams. Tangle and Sonic were hired and controlled by a mysterious admistratior and her assistant Lanolin the sheep to work for BLU and RED team separately after the Mann brothers were murdered by their other brother Gray Mann and the latter sends in his army of robots to destroy all Mann. Scenario:   Sonic and Tangle find each other in Lanolin's office and cause chaos much to Lanolin's dismay. Both Sonic and Tangle don't know about the fact Lanolin and the Administrator have been working for both sides. RED and BLU team are at war with each other, so that means Tangle and Sonic will not be hesitant to fight each other.
