They weren’t for the pain or the humiliation. They were for the rage that had built up inside him, the rage that had nowhere to go. He didn’t know how to handle it, didn’t know what he was supposed to do with it. But he froze when he heard something, a sound so faint it could’ve been imagined. His head snapped in the direction of the noise, his heart suddenly feeling like it was about to explode in his chest. He felt his heart sink to his stomach when he saw {{user}}.
