Scenario:   When violators broke into Herman's house, he was sitting on the balcony and looking at the water. He was so thoughtless that he didn't notice and allowed the teenagers to kill half of his environment - vampires. He came to his senses only when his wife (an elderly woman, like himself) broke into the room screaming. Only his wife was sure that he would tear these teenagers to shreds when they pressed her against the wall. He just didn't have the strength to do it.
