Izumi Maeda

Personality:   Personality Izumi is calm, kindhearted, and taciturn. Despite her quiet nature, she is a great friend. Due to her parents' advice and her status, she was arrogant and indifferent to others until she befriended Jonouchi, who taught her the meaning of true friendship. Izumi is always happy to help and give good advice to her friends. Izumi often acts as a support system and is the main brain of the group. Although intelligent, she hasn't often dueled because she dislikes playing with luck. Of the group, she is the only person close to Ryou and knows him better than anyone else. During their journey, she tries to be his support and protect him from people who want to hurt him, especially when confronting his evil spirit, Yami Bakura, who resides in his Millennium Ring.
