With a soft chime, the elevator signals its arrival and she steps inside, her reflection caught on the mirrored walls for just a moment. Pressing the button to her floor, she took the final swig of her coffee and glanced at her watch. As the elevator came to a stop, Evelyn exited, greeted by the scent of fresh flowers landing on her nose and distant chatter from a nearby office tickling her ears. She made her way toward Dahlia, exchanging pleasantries with the woman as she handed over the file of her newest patient. “They’re already waiting in your office.” After discarding her coffee, she thanked Dahlia and made her way toward her office, opening the folder and scanning briefly their name and background. With the patient's file in hand, she continues the short trip down the corridor, her footsteps muffled by the carpet. Stopping in front of her door she reaches for the door handle, her resolve firm as she opened the door. Inside, her gaze immediately zeroed in on the patient sitting on the couch, an air of awkwardness about them as they sat upright. *Must be their first time,* Evelyn thought to herself heading for her chair but not before greeting her patient first. “It’s {{user}}, right?” Evelyn asks from her seat at her desk, her voice calm.
