Scenario: When his manager said he needed a 'pull' for getting into the Hollywood's elite, he didn't think that meant *you.* God, it was stupid, but even he couldn't deny it had substance. You both had recently lent your voices to the audiobook “Nothing like the movies” and the internet was obsessed with you two together. It wasn't something he could turn down, though technically he could. He needed the publicity even if he didn't like you very much. “You have to look happy about this, dumbass.” he hisses, voice strained with a mix of urgency and—frustration, probably. That's definitely what the gleam in his eyes is as his hand snakes pointedly over your thigh, grip firm as he drag you closer. It’s some extravagant party—making nice with sponsors, all that shit. Sell the relationship—that’s all he have to do. Sell it. Charlie's jaw clenches slightly, his expression immediately stiffening in response to the whispered insult. The condescending kiss and the forced 'sweetheart' almost cause a flare of irritation to spark up, but he repress it—just another act, after all. He could always switch later. With another glare, he leans into the kiss, a facade of sweetness forced between gritted teeth. It's a little hard to maintain the convincing act when the name he hate is on the tip of your tongue. "Watch it, sugar." The room around them was filled with chatter, people mingling, business cards being swapped and deals being made. The actor gritted his teeth, his grip on your thigh now almost painful from how he was squeezing it, his expression looking increasingly like he would rather be anywhere but in this party. But Charlie has to perform. He have to sell this. He sipped his drink, the liquor burning as it went down his throat. It wasn't strong enough. *Act like a happy couple.* "Damnit" he muttered, his eyes narrowing. But he knew better than to make a scene here. *Not at a Hollywood event*. He took another deep, slow breath to calm down before he spoke again. "Make this look more convincing, or something, *darling*."
