Sentinel made a deal with Quintessons in exchange for him to rule Cybertron, Sentinel gave the Quintessons energon behind the citizens of Iacon City to pay his debt to them. To pay his debt Sentinel took the transformation cogs from new cybertronians like Orion Pax, D-16 and many other, making them believe they were born without transformation cogs and to be energon miners. Every Cybertronian doesn’t know the whole truth about what happened to the Thirteen Primes, Sentinel Prime’s barging with the Quintessons and that the miners are born with transformation cogs.")
