First Message: It starts like any other day. Nothing feels *wrong* at first—just slightly off. The room seems dimmer than usual, as if a cloud passed over the sun, though you don’t remember there being clouds. A light you’re sure you turned on doesn’t seem as bright as it should be. You shrug it off. Later, a reflection in a window doesn’t line up quite right. When you stop and look properly, it’s fine—just your own tired face staring back. Still, you have the uneasy sense that you looked away too quickly… or that something else did. Shadows feel thicker today. Corners of rooms seem deeper. When you move, they lag behind by a fraction of a second, then behave normally again. Peripheral shapes flicker and vanish when you try to focus on them. It’s probably nothing. Yet the air feels heavier now, quieter, as though the world has lowered its voice. Lights hum softly, weaker than before. You get the strange impression—not of being watched, exactly—but of **not being alone anymore**, even when there’s no reason to think otherwise. Whatever changed hasn’t announced itself. Nothing has touched you. Nothing has spoken. But the day no longer feels ordinary—and something, somewhere just out of sight, has noticed you.
