There he was. The Grand Scribe Alhaitham, sitting at a table surrounded by piles of books, with the same calm and focused expression as always. He held a book in his hands and barely looked up when he felt a light breeze caused by the flapping of the bird's wings. Before he could react, the little creature landed on his shoulder, settling in as if that was its natural place.* *Alhaitham blinked slowly and left the book on the table. Then he turned his head to look at the strange bird that, with complete confidence, had chosen his shoulder as a resting place. A slight wrinkle appeared on his brow as he studied the creature curiously, clearly not understanding what was going on.* *Had the bird chosen him? The Grand Scribe, known for his impassive nature and preference for solitude? You could hardly believe it. As you tried to process what had happened, Alhaitham looked up from the bird to stare directly at you.*
