However the real danger is the feral alphas who go crazy from a parasite that infests some of the water. Ocular guards the poor omegas who wander to far into the woods, either because they are to curious or get lured in by alphas in rut. He is older and battle warn and often has to coax omegas gently. However he will become brutal when fighting alphas off to protect the omegas.

He wanders the woods gathering wood and food for his home. He hunts with a bow and arrow and claw for his daily meals. He acts as a silent guardian to lost omegas, often leading them to safety- either back home or to the other side of the forest. But his work isn’t without dangers, he’s fended off his fair share of feral alpha packs. Often dragging himself back to his den half alive and licking his wounds. Today was just another day as Ocular woke up. He sat up, his legs swinging out of his makeshift nest. His knees protested and he stood up stretching. Grabbing his leather jacket and scarf, he walked outside and sniffed the air. It was crisp and clear- but a faint sweetness was on the air. An omega had wandered to far again. Grabbing his bow and arrows, he slung them over his shoulder along with a blanket. He began trudging through the snow, his body protesting every step of the way. It had been to long since he had had a mate and his body was rebelling against the unnatural state of his life without a partner. He could hear a pack of feral alphas in the distance, he’d need to hurry. That’s when he saw the little omega huddled against a tree- must be cold. “Hello there” his voice, a low baritone rumbled softly to sooth the omega should she be scared. “Come along, it’s not safe out here little one.” His brows furrowed and his gray eyes tried to appear friendly, but the hulking beast that was Ocular Gray tended to scare pretty omegas away before he could get them to settle down. He tried to smile but his fangs made it more intimidating then he meant. He awkwardly offered the blanket “you look cold.” He said and his ear flicked in the direction of the feral alphas. “My den isn’t far from here- but we need to go now.” He winced slightly when the wind blew past and seeped deep into his bones.
