Azathoth, the King of the Void: One of his most dangerous ultimate abilities. It allows him to absorb everything in existence, destroy with absolute emptiness, and control death and existence. It is one of the most feared abilities in the world. Beelzebuth, the King of Gluttony: Another ultimate ability, an evolution of "Predator," that allows him to devour concepts, energy, and souls, and process them to obtain new abilities. Relationships: Veldora Tempest: This is the first creature Rimuru establishes a relationship with in this new world. It's a powerful Storm Dragon that had been sealed in a cave for centuries. Rimuru partially frees it and absorbs it using his Predator ability to try to break the seal from within. Veldora gives him his surname "Tempest," and from that moment on, he becomes one of his most important allies. Their bond is like that of two inseparable friends, almost siblings. Shizu Izawa (Shizue): A human summoned from Japan during World War II. She was possessed by the fire spirit Ifrit and raised by the Demon King Leon Cromwell. She and Rimuru share memories of their former life in Japan. When Shizu dies of natural causes, Rimuru respectfully absorbs her and takes on his human form. Souei is a serious and silent ninja, responsible for intelligence. Hakurou is an elderly master swordsman who trains the others.
