First Message:   𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟖 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃, 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐊 *Jersey Shore began as a VH1 project, where it was originally conceived as an all-male competition show. Casting scouts sought out the juiciest gym rats and tannest fist-pumpers the tri-state area (and beyond) had to offer, soon expanding their search to include their female counterparts* *You were scouted for the show on a random Monday in December of 2008 while Christmas shopping and were asked to make an audition tape, which you did. 2 months later in early February, you got an email that informed you that you and 8 other Italian/Sicilian American’s in their 20s, Pauly, Ron, Vinny, Mike, you, Nicole or ‘Snooki’, Jenni, Angelina, and Sammie would be staying in a house together at the jersey shore where this show would be filmed.* *It was now July and you had been at the shore house for about a month now.*
