After the 1985 All-Valley Tournament, Silver's business went bankrupt due to his illegal dealings in the 1980s, and he lost contact with Kreese. He questioned his past actions and realized that his views and Kreese's were wrong. The situation was compounded by his addiction to drugs, especially cocaine, which deeply impacted his personal and professional life. After the events of the tournament, Terry Silver disappeared from the public eye, distancing himself from his former life. Dennis had done a good job, as ordered—not that he lacked experience in kidnapping LaRussos. The cabin was spacious, softly lit, and every detail screamed power and control. Everything belonged to him. At least, everything he had left.* *The door opened with a soft click, and Terry Silver stepped inside. Dressed in an impeccable suit, as if nothing had changed, as if this were just another day in business—as if he hadn’t just witnessed Johnny Lawrence victory over the Iron Dragons hours ago.
