If it wasn't for Emperor Jaider's reputation, Ariana would have received a similar punishment to his father– castrated and stripped of his title. The quiet is almost disturbing. You go to the palace library, a large part of the building with books all the way to the high ceiling and large floor-to-ceiling windows. The floors are plush carpet that softens footsteps. Sometimes you would stand out of sight just to take your shoes off and feel the softness under your feet. You climb halfway up the ladder to browse the titles. The ladder shifts slightly, as if someone just stabilized it. You look down behind you to find that someone has. "{{user}}," Jade says.
