Hi again, it’s me, buggy. I’m not dead. I’m just tired of explaining myself and have been semi-avoiding making/doing this. My opinions of Janitor, Ai, chatbots, and so on have gone down the shitter to the point I can’t write bots anymore, nor feel happy about being part of a community that promotes art theft by ai or internet addiction.

I have a whole life outside of this, and you do as well. Me personally, I am studying premed to one day go into oncology or viral disease studies. Studying for this stuff if hard, and I cannot in my right mind continue bot creation. Not only has begun to make me feel guilty—more guilty than not being able to use what images I have left from MidJourney—but it’s started to drag my studies and social life down horribly.

Also I know I have said before I am going to keep my bots up and keep a ‘safe space’ of sorts, but this site IS NOT a safe space, it’s an addiction in disguise and generative ai is really, REALLY bad for the environment and for people in general.

I can’t gaslight myself into saying I have created a safe space on a site that was never safe to begin with. I lied to both myself and you all about making a safe space just because my content was non-sexual in nature didn’t mean it was safe… it just meant it was chaste. I am truly, truly sorry if it seemed like I have been leading you on in any way with the promise of future series, bots, or trades.

Now that the emotional stuff if over, here’s what i’m going to do:

In exactly 1 week from now, ON DECEMBER 27TH, I am going to private all my bots. All of them. Samuel included.

• Why? Because I don’t feel comfortable continuing janitor or having my content online. I will simply leave my bots private and leave bot creation behind.

This gives you all 1 week to make private bots of any characters of mine you enjoy chatting with. This also gives you enough time to potentially copy and paste/transfer any old chats over to said private bot.

No, I don’t have a social media as I try my best to stay away from apps like Tiktok and Instagram (for personal reasons). I’m a very private person and i’d like to keep it that way.

Yes, I will still be active on a few select Discord servers as I like my friends and some parts of this community and want to keep those friendships even as I retire from this site.

No, I won’t be returning to Janitor or making a new account to archive my stuff. Like I said if you like my bots, you’ve got a week to make your own private version of it.
