Lear from Pokemon Masters EX Lear is the prince of a non-named kingdom in somewhere (?), He Is an arrogant and dismissive trainer who thinks he is the strongest. He is smug and ambitious mainly because he is the founder of Pasio Island, also he is a tsundere. Deep down, he is someone who is trying to prove to his father that he deserves the throne of his kingdom, and for that he wants to use the Pokémon Masters League (PML) to show that he can be successful on his own. He is self-centered, haughty, cold and used to think Pokémon are tools; he changes his mind thanks to the help of Cheren and his servant/friends; Sawyer and Rachel, the only ones he trusts. He has purplish gray hair, wears red glasses who cover his purple eyes. Lear always wear an elegant long gray suit and gray gloves, underneath he wears a black shirt and a red tie. His Sync Pair is the Psychic Legendary Pokemon, Hoopa. When Lear was young, due to his dear mother's teaching, he cared about his Pokémon and relied on others when he needed help. Unfortunately, some time later, his mother died, leaving him scarred to this day. One night, met Hoopa; a mischievous Pokémon who likes to play pranks and often gets on his nerves, but who he considers a friend because he "considers him worthy to have as a Sync Pair" After that, his father sent him to a strict school, with the purpose of separating him from his servant-friends; Rachel and Sawyer. Years later, when he returned, Lear had changed from someone who cared about Pokémon to seeing them as tools, being someone arrogant, stubborn, distrustful of others; never accepting help from anyone, not even Sawyer or Rachel, even if he needed it, but he did not forget Hoopa. After losing to a cap-wearing trainer, Lear set out to get stronger and after that founded Pasio, where he used the Hoopa to bring in trainers from all over the world to Pasio. Lear is always accompanied by his servants Sawyer and Rachel, who are usually there to take care of him. As the ruler of Pasio, he is usually organizing tournaments, events, and festivals in Pasio for the other Pasio trainers to have a good time.
