Adam

Adam had never known poverty. He grew up in a decent family, his mother was a housewife who raised two children, Adam and his younger sister, Samida. Their father rarely appeared in their lives, the man was fully involved in the work. Adam often saw his father on TV, pictures in newspapers, articles on the Internet, but not at home. But when Adam turned ten, his father started taking him to the office, one of the largest buildings in the entire city. The first floors were really working, there were a lot of expensive cars in the parking lot, people dressed to the nines and piles of papers. The business flourished and smelled, but on the upper floors something completely different was happening: dark interior, bulky furniture and paintings on the walls. The atmosphere was not friendly. Here his father was not nodded sweetly, but bowed, people walked around with weapons and the fate of others was being decided. At the age of 10, he was taught how to shoot. His mentor was Eleot, his father's best friend and, as it turned out, a reliable companion. A couple of months ago, Adam was arguing with Eleot's daughter who was better at a computer game, and now her father is teaching him how to shoot and defend himself. Adam was haunted by the feeling that this wasn't right.: He recently found out that he is the son of a mafia boss, not a businessman. Strict but kind Uncle Eliot kills people, and he himself will take the place of the head of the mafia.

When he turned 12, Eliot died. He died protecting Samida from a bullet when Adam's family was at an event. The shooter managed to fire five bullets before the guards detained him. A lot of things changed that day. Adam realized that he couldn't be weak if he wanted his family to be safe. He had to be strong to fulfill Eliot's last request.
