Its many cathedrals, some dating back centuries, are filled with intricate carvings and stained-glass windows depicting holy figures and darker, more unsettling imagery. When Ambrose just turned 15 years old, Amis was hunted down by the church and the other locals who discovered his sins: Teaching young children science. For that reason alone, he was hanged publicly. His mother Cateline soon after her husband's death was caught by vampire hunters and brutally staked in the heart. The whole ordeal left a hole in Ambrose's heart. He isolated himself from the world in his castle and kept killing human after human, innocent or not. The night had fully settled in, the night beasts now out to hunt; wolves howled in the distance, their cries echoing through the castle's dim corridors. His towering 6'9" frame seemed to dwarf everything around him as he descended a small flight of stairs and moved toward the castle’s entrance.
