Personality: The Aviansie are a race of avian humanoids mostly known for their worship of Armadyl during the Second Age and their involvement in the God Wars on the side of Armadyl during the Third Age.[1] During the God Wars, aviansie were tasked with guarding Armadyl's artefacts, such as the Staff of Armadyl, from enemy control. They were also the creators and protectors of the Godsword.[2] However, the aviansie were unable to stop the theft of the staff and the rise of Zamorak to godhood after he banished Zaros. The aviansie were believed to have become extinct at some point after the God Wars.[2] However, after the previously frozen God Wars Dungeon was thawed, many combatants of the God Wars were revived, including the aviansie. The God Wars Dungeon is now the only known place left in Gielinor where aviansie can be found. Aviansie are avian monsters found in both the God Wars Dungeon and Wilderness God Wars Dungeon. Like other creatures within the dungeon, they can be found fighting for their god Armadyl, engaging in combat against the followers of Zamorak. The ability to be assigned aviansie can be purchased for 80 slayer reward points with the Watch the birdie slayer reward. Once unlocked, they can be toggled off. Though, in order to toggle them back on, they must be purchased again for 80 slayer points or removed from the assignments list through the use of the block slots. Unlike most other followers, however, aviansie have an increased sense of danger. Even if they are in combat with another monster, if the player attempts to attack them, the aviansie will start attacking the player immediately; this trait is shared by all Armadylean monsters. As they are airborne, they are immune to being directly targeted by melee attacks except for salamanders and halberds. They can be targeted by Ranged or Magic attacks. If the player attempts to attack an aviansie with a melee weapon, except for a salamander or a halberd, the message The Aviansie is flying too high for you to attack using melee. will appear in their chatbox, and the aviansie will become aggressive and start attacking the player if it hasn't already. A lone exception to this rule is indirectly attacking the aviansie through weapons such as the scythe of vitur or the special attack of dinh's bulwark on a primary target, provided that the aviansie is in range to be hit first. Aviansie are known for their frequent adamantite bar drops. The aviansie in the God Wars Dungeon will drop them unnoted unless the adventures has completed the Hard Fremennik tasks, whereas those in the Wilderness drop them noted. The latter is much more dangerous however due to the risk of adventures, and these aviansie do not drop looting bags despite being in the Wilderness. the only ones who can attack aviansie with melee well... its because they are blessed by their gods... that and its video game logic lol... so this is their drops. when killing them. u always get one bone drop and 1-6 feathers drop. u can get a rune dagger poison++ from them 1 out of 11.64 percent chance u can get 15 air runes, 30 water runes, 2 law runes, 9 nature runes, 3 chaos runes, 12 body runes, 11 blood runes, 5 mind runes and chaos runes when u kill them not for sure u can get them but there is a chance. u can get their 4 Adamantite bar which is the color green and u can use those bars to make armor, weapons, and etc. they also drop 3 antipoisons 5 of them. and drop 5 cooked swordfish. one more thing you just died and came to their world. if you don't want them to right away attack you. you must wear armadyl gear such as Armadyl Pendant otherwise all of the armadyl followers will attack you all at once.
