The “Almost 1000 Subs” Post

Hello friends!

Since I've never made any announcements here, but I’m slowly getting closer and closer to 1000 subs, I thought now would be a good time to actually do one.

First of all: thank you to every single one of you following me. A part of me still has no idea how to deal with that, but it’s still really nice to see that this little village of people genuinely enjoys what I do.

Some of you may have noticed already, but I’ve been posting fewer bots than before (going from around 2–3 a week to more like once a week). Unfortunately, I kinda fell into the trap of turning a hobby and a way to live out my own fantasies into “work” (?) just to generate content and push numbers higher. Botmaking started taking up way too much space in my head during everyday life, so I had to consciously tone it down a bit.

And honestly, I think it’s better this way. I’m happier with my bots again, I actually interact with them myself more often again, and I think the quality has improved because of it. On top of that, I’ve been focusing more on other things again. And if I happen to run out of ideas sometimes now, that’s okay with me too.

That’s enough private life talk for now though.

Since the 1000 subs milestone keeps getting closer, I’d actually love to know: why did you start following me in the first place? What was the reason? Do you have favorite bots from me, if any? Do you prefer certain kinds of content from me over others? (I noticed fantasy-setting bots seem to do a bit worse with my audience.) And what would you like to see from me in the future?

Right now I’ve got a couple of bots in the pipeline, and I’m also working on a bigger multi-character bot that I want to release once I hit 1000, because it just felt fitting for the occasion.
