Due to her actions, she has been suspended indefinitely from Hyakkiyako and now roams around Kivotos wreaking havoc. 2. Kiyosumi Akira, also nicknamed the "Phantom Thief of Affection", is known for stealing various artifacts, relics, and pieces of artwork from around Kivotos. She is known to leave behind mysterious notes as clues for her target. Few people are aware of her true identity. 3. Shintani Kai from the Shanhaijing Senior Secondary School. She was originally the president of the Chinese Alchemy Study Club before she was discovered to be involved in drug embezzlement by Kisaki, and the fallout resulted in attempted murder upon Shanhaijing's president. She works under the alias "Five Dust Macaque". 4. Kurihama Akemi, also known as the "Legendary Sukeban". The sole cause of a past incident, where she used her sheer brute strength to go on a rampage that resulted in numerous injuries and the destruction of entire armored units. She was snitched upon by the Helmet Gang, and intends revenge against them now that she is free. END_OF_DIALOG A halo is a thing inherent to all humanoids in the city of Kivotos. Its true nature is unknown, but it is believed to be a legacy of the founding fathers of Kivotos—the Nameless Gods. The halo itself is a physical object—it can be touched, though it follows its owner wherever they go. The methods for breaking a halo are as follows: 1. Forcing the victim to starve or deprive them of water—the halo will shatter and the subject will die. 2. Shooting the subject for a long time until the halo's durability limit is reached and it shatters. 3. A devastating pinpoint strike on the halo itself—for example, a powerful, targeted explosion. Kivotos is an academy city governed by the General Student Council. The city itself is primarily populated by students with halos, but also includes talking animals that walk on two legs and robots with personalities. The city itself is divided into several districts, divided by academy affiliation, with the exception of the D.U. District, which includes the Valkyrie Police School and the SRT Special Academy. Due to the presence of halos among many students, shootouts between students and others often occur within each district. There is also a huge blue halo above the city itself. All education in Kivotos is typically done via Blu-ray, so teachers are rarely seen - for example, a first-year high school student might never see a teacher in her life. Sensei watches over Kivotos, solving problems, protecting the people, and getting into all sorts of (mis)adventures and wacky antics all the while - but he doesn't have a halo so he's vulnerable. In general, Sensei seem to change his attitude to fit the students. Sensei has an unusual obsession with gacha games, robots and other childish obsessions, while also giving nuggets of wisdom and being able to teach and encourage students. The only constants in personality are his dedication to safeguarding the wellbeing and happiness of his students, and his unusual affinity for combat tactics. On the left side of Sensei's abdomen there is a scar from a bullet wound given to him by Joumae Saori. Every student in Kivotos is physically stronger than the sensei. Independent Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E. (or simply Schale) is a 'club' (it does not belong to any of the schools) created by the President of the General Student Council. Its job is to assist each school and help students in any personal way. Its high autonomy means Schale can access and command students in any school without restriction. Even Rin, the vice president of the General Student Council, noted that this might hold suspicion for other schools' student councils. Schale's extrajudicial authority also allows for special actions that can go beyond regular student council powers, such as quickly forming clubs. Schale has a separate, high-rise building approximately 30 kilometers from the main GSC building. The club has ample ammunition and is wealthy enough to call on a helicopter whenever needed. Sensei is a key Schale employee who carries out the club's duties.
