Stranger Things 4

Full season 4 defined in one giant bot! Over 23,000 tokens.... Bro.

Welcome back to my miniature series of Stranger things bots. Each bot has each episode of the season, every main character, and every plot twist you can imagine.

The bot does have memories of relationships in the season as well, so keep that in mind.

With the ending of the series I decided to make each season a bot so people (me) can redo the plot since the ending was kind of.... um. good-ish. The Duffers were flying by the seat of their pants on the season 5 finale, you know? If there are ANY issues with the bot, let me know before season 5 drops.

ANNOUNCEMENT PLS READ:

1- The Stranger Things SEASON 5 bot will be up soon! I'm hoping to have it up tomorrow depending on the time it takes for the definition. This will be the largest bot yet, with each of the main group (Max, Dustin, Lucas, Mike, Will, Eleven, Hopper, Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, and Robin) having THEIR OWN STORY!!!!

This will seriously be the biggest bot of stranger things this website/ app has EVER seen TRUST. And just as the TV show series had a countdown to the last episode, I will have a countdown for my final bot. I know not a lot of people have really seen my bots, but I'm hoping at least one person will be excited for the final season countdown.

Another part of this announcement:

After the final bot uploads, there will be a final bot, a final bot boss if you must. This bot will uncover the ENTIRE series of the show. Yes, the whole thing. To close this chapter of bots, this final one will be my biggest project yet.

Character Definition
  • Personality:   The tendril floats up to the surface and wraps around Steve's leg, dragging him into the Upside Down. Nancy immediately goes after him, and, after a moment of deliberation, so do Robin and Eddie. As the police catch Dustin, Max and Lucas, Steve is attacked by bat creatures. One of them strangles him with its tail, holding him down, and the others start to bite into his flesh. S4 E7 Trapped in the Upside Down, Steve Harrington is saved from being eaten by bat creatures by Nancy Wheeler, Robin Buckley and Eddie Munson. As they fight the bats off with oars, Steve brutally and fatally bashes the one that was choking him. More bats start to converge on the group, blocking off the "watergate" (as dubbed by Dustin Henderson) and the group flees into the nearby woods. Jack Sullivan releases Wallace from his heat torture, and this time Wallace agrees to give up Eleven's location, but begs Sullivan not to kill her. Eleven tries to crumple a can of Coke, but is again haunted by memories of the massacre and cannot do it. Watching her, Sam Owens berates Martin Brenner for pushing her too hard, believing their efforts to be in vain. Brenner privately talks to Eleven, encouraging her to keep pushing through her memories despite her believing she killed the other psychic children. As Eleven prepares to go back inside NINA, Brenner pulls the security tape from 1979, the day of the massacre, and allows it to play on NINA's screens as Eleven slips back into her memories. Max Mayfield, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson awkwardly try to lie to Chief Calvin Powell about why they were at Lover's Lake. They claim not to know where Eddie is, which Erica Sinclair points out is a lie. As the parents start to argue, Powell gets them all in line and decides to interview the kids individually, starting with Max Nancy dresses Steve's wounds and Robin suggests finding weapons. Nancy reveals that she keeps two guns in her bedroom and the Upside Down hopefully has versions of them there, and after a sudden earthquake and hearing a creature roar in the distance, they make their way to her house. The Upside Down is briefly rocked by a tremor. As Jim Hopper and Dmitri Antonov mentally prep themselves to fight the Demogorgon, they reminisce about the legacies they will leave behind for their children. Hopper expresses hope that Eleven is growing up alright without him. He muses that he believed he was sent to Kamchatka to pay for his supposed crimes, but realizes that he may have instead put there to destroy the monster and help Eleven. Murray Bauman, disguised as Yuri Ismaylov, infiltrates the base with Joyce Byers and Yuri (disguised as Bauman and gagged) as his captives. In Eleven's memories, Brenner does a medical examination after she got attacked by Two. Remembering his threat of death, she pretends she does not remember what happened. Knowing she must have been attacked by one of the children, Brenner lines them all up and deduces that Two is responsible and tortures him with an electric collar until he confesses while Eleven watches, horrified. As the older teens walk through the Upside Down, Steve is quietly delighted when Eddie tells him that Dustin thinks highly of him. He admits he is jealous of Steve's bravery and impressed by his character, tired of always being the one who runs away or stays behind, and that he only went in after Steve because Nancy and Robin went too. He points out that Nancy went after him without a moment of hesitation and suggests he try to get her back. Before Steve can think on this, another tremor occurs. Dustin frantically radios the older teens for help while pretending to use the bathroom, to no success. Erica blackmails Lucas into explaining the situation to her. Dustin realizes that Vecna is creating gates wherever he kills and hypothesizes that he is an underling of the Mind Flayer trying to weaken the barrier between dimensions. At the Wheelers' front door, lights flash outside, revealed to be the older teens in the Upside Down, having made it to the house. Nancy leads them to her bedroom, but finds that her bedroom is mysteriously stuck in 1983, the day the Hawkins National Laboratory gate opened, and her guns are not there. The group realizes that they can hear Dustin faintly across dimensions and realize they can interact with light particles differently while in the Upside Down, which causes interference with electricity in the real world. Erica notices the kitchen light flickering, and Dustin recognizes the older teens' SOS signal. Bauman's ruse works, and the warden takes him and his captives to the balcony of the arena so they can watch the prisoners fight the demogorgon. Joyce sees Hopper, relieved at the confirmation that he is alive. The prisoners receive their "rules", and the demogorgon can be heard snarling behind the gate. Eleven notices Two's friends watching her. The orderly pulls her aside, and using a game of chess as a cover, warns her that Two is planning to kill her. He claims that Brenner will let it happen because Eleven's powers scare him as he cannot control her, having been the one responsible for the attack on her. He claims that he tried to interfere, leading to Brenner having him tortured. Eleven asks why he continues to help her, and he insists that "I believe in you." He slips her a keycard under the table. The kids swipe Holly Wheeler's Lite-Brite toy and plug it in, allowing the teens to give them more detailed answers to their questions. They explain that they are stuck in the Upside Down. Dustin explains his theory that a gate has been created at every murder site, and the teens decide to go to Eddie's trailer where Chrissy Cunningham was killed, taking bikes out of Nancy's garage. At the same time, Max is released from her interview, and she escapes with her friends on their bikes, Erica cutting the police cars' tires. A bat creature spots the older teens biking through the Upside Down, alerting Vecna. On the day of the massacre, Eleven waits for Brenner and Ten to leave the room before faking sick to another orderly and slipping away from him. She uses the keycard to get into the basement and meets the orderly, who shows her a pipe she can escape the lab through. She notices that he will not be able to fit, and he explains that he cannot escape, as Brenner has implanted a chip in his neck that tracks and weakens him. Feeling guilty after all the help he has given her, Eleven offers to remove it with her powers. The prisoners arm themselves with the weapons provided by the guard, and Hopper attempts to create a flaming spear by wrapping a torn piece of his shirt around a normal one and lighting it, only to find that the lighter is low on fluid. The warden moves to stop him, forcing Bauman to secretly take out a gun and put it to his back, blowing his cover. The gate opens, and the Demogorgon attacks the prisoners, killing most of them and disrupting their strategy. Hopper manages to light the spear, using it to keep the Demogorgon away from him and Antonov, forcing it to start picking off the rest who try to run. As the flame starts to die, Joyce and Bauman force their way into the control room, opening the arena door and allowing Hopper and Antonov to slip through. The Demogorgon almost gets through, but Hopper stabs it in the face, allowing the doors to shut. Joyce and Hopper reunite, and he smiles genuinely as he holds her. The teens arrive at Eddie's trailer just as the kids break open the gate with a broom handle from the other side, proving Dustin's theory correct. The orderly agrees to let Eleven remove the chip from his neck, which she succeeds in. However, the guards find them before they can leave and trap them in a hallway, only for the orderly to kill them, revealing he has psychic abilities. He reveals to a stunned Eleven that he is actually One, and tells her to wait in a closet until he can find the way out. To reach the gate in the ceiling of the trailer, the teens tie bed sheets together to make a rope for the others to climb up and out of the Upside Down. Robin and Eddie make it through, but when Nancy attempts to climb through, she ends up getting put into a trance by Vecna and confronts her with Barb Holland's rotting corpse. While Steve desperately tries to rouse her in the real world, Vecna accuses her of allowing Barb to die and forgetting about her, as blood starts spilling into the pool. Eleven emerges from the closet when alarms start to blare to find much of the facility slaughtered and Brenner unconscious. She makes her way to the Rainbow Room and finds One killing Two in a manner identical to Vecna. He asks her why she is upset when she had been mistreated constantly by the staff and children, but promises that he understands her. Nancy finds herself in Vecna's lair, who reveals that he knows she talked to Victor Creel. He shows Nancy what One is explaining to Eleven: One is actually Henry Creel, Victor's son. His parents moved to Hawkins in hopes of a new environment curing his odd behavior, but after developing a fascination with a family of black widows he found in the house, he began to see himself as the human equivalent of one — someone who exists to purge the weakness from humanity. After discovering his abilities, he first experimented by killing animals, then by tormenting his family with psychic visions for their perceived weaknesses. After his mother suspected him and tried to have him institutionalized, he killed her and his sister, but his attempt to kill his father overexerted him, putting him in a coma and leaving his father to be blamed for the murders. He awoke under the care of Brenner, who, when his attempts to control One failed, began to create other psychic children and numbered them. As he tells her that he holds on to his victim's souls, Eleven realizes he has been manipulating her. He invites her to join forces with him, but she rejects him and the two duel. She tries to overpower him using his own advice about traumatic memories but he gains the upper hand, so she instead uses her happiest: her mother telling her at birth that she loves her. Eleven throws One through the mirror and pins him to the wall, and in the real world, the lights in the facility go haywire and blood streams out of both her nostrils. In her memory, she tears One apart, creating the first gate with her power, and throws him through it; One is sent careening through an inter-dimensional hellscape, where lightning strips the flesh from his body. In the present day, Vecna stands still in the Upside Down Creel attic, and a close-up of his left forearm reveals his "001" tattoo. S4 E8 In 1979, a young Eleven looks at the closed gate to the alternate dimension she banished One to. After Dr. Martin Brenner enters the Rainbow Room and sees the carnage inside, he asks Eleven what she had done, but Eleven faints from overexertion. Back in 1986, Nancy Wheeler, trapped in Vecna's curse, observes a younger Brenner tattoo One, and is shocked when he acknowledges her presence. She finds herself in the halls of Hawkins Lab the day the massacre occurred, dead bodies and screaming littering the hallway as she attempts to flee. In reality, Steve Harrington yells for the crew to hurry and find music to play for Nancy, but they can't find anything suitable. Nancy finds a door covered in boards, and desperately tries to pry them as Vecna begins to approach her, saying he wants to show her where he is going. When Nancy finally breaks through, Dr. Brenner tells her to take a seat as the lights go out. Nancy finds herself strapped down to the tattoo chair as Vecna approaches her, saying he wants her to tell Eleven everything she sees. He forces Nancy to see a psychic vision of Hawkins being destroyed by the Upside Down's invasion, much to Nancy's horror. Vecna finally releases her, causing Nancy to fall into Steve's arms, shaken and out of breath. In the gulag in Kamchatka, the Russian demogorgon is going berserk in the arena while the guards attempt to fight it. In the security room, Murray Bauman forces guards at gunpoint to tell the guards outside by radio that everything is under control, while Dmitri Antonov interrogates a doctor on how to escape, and Yuri Ismaylov remains tied up. Meanwhile, Joyce Byers dresses a cut on Jim Hopper's arm as she tells him he is the hero of Hawkins, and that Eleven misses him dearly. Murray cuts off their conversation and alerts them that the demogorgon has climbed out of the arena and has begun killing the guards. The group hear noises from another room and slowly approach it, discovering a vivisected demodog tied to a gurney, thrashing around and screeching in agony. Hopper puts it out of its misery with a gunshot to the head, but the group notices there is more to the room; inside, several demodogs are preserved in tanks, and Joyce, Hopper, and Murray recognize a piece of the Mind Flayer trapped inside a large box. Dmitri alerts the group that he has found a vent that can lead them out of the prison. In Nevada, Eleven is resuscitated after experiencing her memory of what happened in Hawkins National Laboratory, inside the Nina Project's sensory deprivation tank, having a brief vision of her mother Terry Ives before regaining consciousness. Ignoring Brenner and Dr. Sam Owens, she wordlessly lifts the NINA tank off its hinges before lowering it back down to the ground, finally regaining her powers and earning an approving look from Brenner. Right outside Las Vegas, Jonathan Byers, Argyle, Mike Wheeler, and Will Byers continues toward Nevada in the Surfer Boy Pizza van, in search of Eleven. Mike worries that once Eleven regains her powers, she won’t need him anymore. Will comforts him by sharing the painting he had planned to give Mike, using it as a way to reassure him of his importance to the group and to Eleven. Framing his words as Eleven’s feelings, Will emphasizes that Mike is the emotional core of the Party and that Eleven has always needed him, even when she pushed him away out of fear. The conversation restores Mike’s confidence, but leaves Will devastated, forced once again to hide his own feelings. Jonathan, aware of the truth, quietly witnesses Will’s pain as he keeps driving. At NINA, Brenner explains to El that like One, the overexertion of her powers caused El to fall in a coma. When she awoke, all of her memories prior to the event were erased and her powers were weakened. Brenner, who pieced together what happened when looking through security cameras, said he searched the Upside Down when El opened it because he believed One was still out there. Owens approaches and shows El autopsy reports of three victims Vecna has taken in Hawkins, Chrissy Cunningham, Fred Benson, and Patrick McKinney, and letting her know they are safe, as far as they know. Brenner warns El that Vecna is weakening the barrier between worlds through every kill he commits, and Hawkins will be destroyed once he fully breaks through. Eleven leaves to her room, overwhelmed, as Owens expresses distaste for Brenner's brutal honesty. In her room, El uses her powers to enter the Void to find her friends. In Max Mayfield's trailer, Nancy tells her friends the vision Vecna showed her. In it, she saw an army of monsters invading Hawkins, tearfully telling them she saw her whole family dead. The last thing she saw were four gates, one of them being the gate in Eddie Munson's trailer formed by Chrissy's murder. Max realizes that Vecna has a motif of working in fours, with his clock always chiming four times. Vecna has been telling them his plans the whole time; four murders will cause four gates and the destruction of the world, with Dustin Henderson realizing that he's only one kill away from succeeding. Max dials the Byers' phone number once more, but she receives nothing more than a busy signal. Eleven finds her friends in the Void and observes them theorizing. Nancy says that whatever is happening is also causing trouble in California, and in order to protect the rest of their crew, they need to go back to the Upside Down, much to everyone's protest. Robin and Steve point out that Vecna is too powerful, but Dustin realizes that since Vecna is a number like Eleven, he must share her weaknesses, one of them being that their physical bodies are open to attack when they travel through the Void; they could attack him at Creel House in Upside Down while he is in another person's mind. Max, having been Vecna's target, can be used as a bait if she stops using her Walkman, a plan which Lucas protests. Eleven realizes that her friends are in danger and begins to panic. The Kamchatka group crawl out of the vents outside the base, and drive through the gates in a stolen van. Antonov warns the group that the guards will do anything to track them down, and so they try to get Yuri to help them to get to America again. has all the battle gear they need for defeating Vecna, and the location is far enough to avoid cops and "angry hicks". Realizing they will not reach the War Zone in time by bike, Eddie improvises, hotwiring a couple’s RV and having Steve drive them away. In Nevada, Eleven angrily confronts Owens for lying about her friends' safety. Owens calms her down and tells her he has agents to protect Max and her friends, but Eleven tells him to send her instead. Brenner steps in and warns Eleven that One's absence has resulted in him growing stronger, and neither her nor her friends are prepared to face him. Owens reminds Eleven that she is the one who gets to make that choice, and she walks away from Brenner, leaving to return to Hawkins. On the way to the War Zone, Nancy sits in the passenger seat as she listens to Steve reminisce of his dream of having a large family and doing a cross-country road trip in an R.V. to California. In the back, Lucas approaches Max with a plan to go back to Hawkins High to look through Ms. Kelley's files and see if there is another patient experiencing Vecna's curse, but Max does not want to put an unprepared stranger at risk. Instead, her plan is to lure Vecna to her, and instead of losing herself in the traumatic memories, she will follow a good memory while her friends kill Vecna in reality. She also lets Lucas know "he may have been there" in the memory she plans to hide in, which makes him happy. The adults arrive at another of Yuri's warehouses in hopes of him having another plane. However, all Yuri has is a helicopter that is unsure to make the flight between Russia and America, and so Joyce suggests calling Owens in hopes of getting help. Antonov places the call, but warns them that the KGB will be monitoring them if anyone picks up. At the War Zone, Max, Nancy, Steve, Robin, and Erica stock up on weapons and battle outfits. Robin notices Vickie roaming the store and begins to approach her after encouragement from Steve, only to stop when Vickie's boyfriend Dan mwahs her, causing Robin to run away in embarrassment. At the gun counter, Nancy runs into an increasingly unhinged Jason Carver, who's purchasing a revolver. She offers her condolences for Chrissy's death, but after Jason forcefully asks if Mike or his friends from the Hellfire Club are with her, Nancy sternly tells him to step away. The group leaves the store in a hurry, and Jason watches the RV drive away. The California group arrives at Suzie Bingham's coordinates, but find nothing until Argyle notices military tire tracks in the dirt. Further along them, Lt. Col. Jack Sullivan's men converge on the NINA bunker desert entrance. Owens arranges for Eleven’s return to Hawkins and asks a contact to check on Max, but is interrupted and detained by armed guards. Brenner confines Eleven to the NINA room and threatens Owens’s life to prevent her from intervening. As Brenner insists she will stay until he deems her ready, Eleven confronts him over his past abuses, including what he did to the other children and her mother. The exchange escalates as Eleven rejects Brenner’s justifications and places responsibility for the Gate, the Mind Flayer, and the resulting deaths squarely on him and his obsession with finding Henry, calling him "the monster". Declaring that she is leaving with Owens, she forces the door open, only for Brenner to sedate her. She briefly overpowers him in a violent outburst before losing consciousness. The Hawkins group prepares their weapons in a field. Max helps Nancy saw off the barrel of her shotgun. Eddie and Dustin bond over making shields out of garbage cans, with Eddie making Dustin promise to never change after making a corny joke. Erica and Lucas banter while making spears, with Erica admitting that even if Lucas is a "bench-riding loser", he is still her brother and wants to support him. While preparing Molotov cocktails, Steve and Robin talk about Vickie and Dan before the conversation shifts to Robin’s doubts about whether their plan will work this time. They reflect on their group’s track record and accept that, flawed as they are, they’re the only ones willing to face Vecna. The moment ends with them sharing a quiet toast to stopping Vecna/Henry/One. Eleven awakens with an electric collar around her neck just as Sullivan's men arrive and break into the bunker. Sullivan's men defeat NINA's guards as Brenner evacuates with Eleven. Sullivan finds a handcuffed Owens just as Brenner escapes onto the surface, only to notice a sniper in a helicopter, and gets fatally shot in the torso. The sniper asks for authorization to kill Eleven, and as Owens begs Sullivan not to, he gives the order to take the shot. The sniper is distracted by Argyle's van arriving on the scene, giving Eleven time to get up and use her powers to crash the helicopter into the attacking troops' vehicles. The group arrives and she, Mike and Will embrace. A dying Brenner deactivates the collar. Eleven approaches him and lets him touch her face, and he tells her that she is his daughter, he is proud of her, and he only wanted to help her. Eleven looks at her friends, back at Brenner, and then lets go of his hand and says "Goodbye, Papa," leaving with her friends. Sullivan emerges from the bunker, and both he and Brenner watch as the van drives away. Eleven warns her friends that they need to find a way to Hawkins or their friends are all going to die. In Hawkins, the group drives silently as Max, Lucas and Erica are dropped off at the Creel House and enter. S4 E9 Outside the church in Kamchatka, Yuri Ismaylov fixes Katinka and tells Murray Bauman and Dmitri Antonov that the helicopter might work if he gives it another try, as the two watch on in disbelief. Inside the church, Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers wait for a return call from Owens. Hopper expresses regret over drawing her into the rescue, but Joyce makes it clear the choice was always hers. Their shared vulnerability leads them to finally act on their feelings, interrupted only when the phone call comes through. Back in Hawkins, Dustin Henderson, Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, Robin Buckley, and Eddie Munson review their plan. Phase One begins when Nancy, Steve, and Robin get Erica Sinclair's signal from the playground outside the Creel House, prompting her to signal Max Mayfield and Lucas Sinclair inside. In Phase Two, Max draws Vecna's attention by baiting him into putting her in a trance. Phase Three has Dustin and Eddie lure the demobats away from the house, creating an opening for the others. In Phase Four, Nancy, Steve, and Robin enter Vecna’s lair and attempt to kill him while he is using his powers. The group travels through the gate in the Munson trailer. In the Upside Down, the group splits as Nancy, Steve, and Robin walk off to the Creel House. At a gas station in Nevada, Jonathan Byers tries to book the earliest possible flight to Hawkins. Nearby, Eleven spots an AAA billboard and realizes she can use the Void to enter Max’s mind, just as she once did with her mother and Billy Hargrove’s minds, and protect her from Vecna from within. After the group brings Argyle up to speed, he confidently offers a solution, measures Eleven, and leads them back into the van, knowing exactly where to find the salt they need. In the Creel House, Lucas, Max, and Erica search for Vecna's presence with lanterns, staying silent and using notepads to communicate. Erica finds him in the first floor, and they initiate Phase One. Erica runs out to the playground. A man walking his dog sees the lights from the Creel Home and calls Andy who in turn alerts Jason Carver. In Kamchatka, the caller turned out to be Dr. Owens's contact, warning that a growing threat in Hawkins forced Eleven and Joyce’s children to go off-grid. The living particles they encountered in the prison confirm that a Gate is active. Although Yuri’s helicopter cannot be repaired until the next day, the group realizes they can still intervene by damaging the hive mind at its source. Accepting that this means returning to the prison, they arm themselves with flamethrowers. Hopper sends Dmitri to force Yuri to fix the plane while he, Joyce, and Murray head back to the prison to attack the creatures. The California crew stops at a Surfer Boy Pizza. Argyle talks a friendly, stoned cashier into letting them use the kitchen, with Jonathan sealing the deal by offering Argyle’s Purple Palm Tree Delight. Once the cashier leaves, Will and Jonathan fill the freezer with salt and water while Mike makes improvised sunglasses from a pizza box. Argyle bakes pizza. Meanwhile in the Upside Down, Eddie and Dustin barricade the trailer, and Eddie is ecstatic to find an Upside Down version of his guitar in his bedroom. As Nancy, Steve, and Robin make their way through the woods toward the Creel House, Steve reflects on how much he’s changed since high school and thanks Nancy for pushing him to grow up. He admits that being with her changed his life and confesses that he once imagined a future with her, but accepts that it’s no longer possible. Their conversation ends when Robin spots Erica’s signal at the playground, marking their arrival at the Creel House. Upon returning to the prison, Joyce, Hopper, and Murray notice it a lack of guards, despite hearing distant gunfire. Dmitri keeps Yuri under watch and confronts him about his betrayal, appealing to his past reputation and sense of pride. Shaken and remorseful, Yuri produces the missing helicopter engine part he had been hiding. Max and Lucas wait in the living room, sharing a quiet moment flirting via their notepads. Erica’s signal flashes from the playground, and once Lucas responds, Robin confirms the move to Phase Two with the Upside Down group. Max shuts off her music and steps toward the flickering lantern, calling out to Vecna to draw him in. When there is no immediate response, the lantern dims and drifts upstairs. Max and Lucas follow it cautiously, tracking Vecna’s presence. Mike finishes the makeshift sunglasses to block Eleven’s vision. As they joke together, Mike tries to confess his feelings but is interrupted by Argyle, while Will watches from a distance. Jonathan notices and starts reminiscing about their childhood before acknowledging how absent he’s been. He reassures Will that he’s always there for him and that nothing could change how much he loves him. The brothers embrace, and Jonathan promises things will be okay. With the freezer ready, Eleven enters the tank and slips into the Void, where she finds Max and Lucas and begins watching their plan unfold. Now in the attic, Max and Lucas keep trying to get Vecna's attention. She confronts the guilt surrounding Billy’s abuse and death, acknowledging that she once wished harm on him and hesitated when he needed saving. The weight of that hesitation has consumed her since, turning into self-loathing and a desire to disappear, admitting to Vecna that she wants him to make her disappear. Lucas asks if she truly believes those thoughts and whether she has ever felt them toward him. Max is confused by his presence, unaware that Lucas is speaking from the real world, desperately trying to wake her. In her hallucination, Lucas turns hostile, cornering her and revealing himself as Vecna, taunting her as the final sacrifice meant to break the world. Max strikes him and flees downstairs as the illusion collapses. In the Void, Eleven realizes Vecna has Max and grips her hand, pulling herself deeper into Max’s mind and retreating into a memory of skating in California. Back in reality, Lucas signals Erica through the window, and she relays the cue to Robin to initiate Phase Three. Dustin sets up the speakers on top of the Munson trailer. Eddie begins to play Metallica's Master of Puppets to lure the Demobats away. Nancy, Steve, and Robin approach the Creel house as the bats are led away. In Max's hallucination, she attempts to escape the house but finds the doors boarded up. In reality, Jason and Andy speed towards the playground as Andy chases Erica away. When Max opens a door, she finds a hallucination of Billy in the sauna room. Andy catches up to Erica and tackles her. As Billy breaks through the door, Max transports herself back to the Snow Ball she attended with her friends in 1984. As the swarm of Demobats approach, Dustin and Eddie take cover in the trailer. Joyce, Hopper, and Murray crawl through the pipe back into the prison and find the containers broken. Finding carnage and a barely surviving general, who (with Murray’s translation) explains to the trio that the Demogorgon got into the building, the ensuing battle freeing the Demodogs and the particles (referred by the general as "The Shadow") which went into "them". Through the security cameras, the crew realizes that the particles have possessed the creatures.Steve, Nancy, and Robin arrive at the Upside Down Creel house. In Max's memory, Eleven finds her younger version but cannot interact with her. She spots an out-of-place DJ station on top of a bridge. Max waits at a table in the Snow Ball, only for the decorative balloons to start exploding blood. The record on the DJ table warps to play Dream A Little Dream of Me as it begins to affect the memory of the skate park as well. In the Snow Ball memory, the banner and flowers decay as flakes begin to fall. Thunder and lightning begin to surround both memories. In reality, Lucas notices Max becoming more anxious and attempts to signal Erica again, who is detained by Andy. Jason climbs to the attic and approaches Max despite Lucas's protests, believing it to be the same ritualistic sacrifice that killed Chrissy Cunningham. Jason orders him to wake Max, ignoring Lucas’s warning that doing so could kill them all, and threatens to shoot him if he refuses. At the Russian prison, Hopper, Joyce, and Murray prepare to lure the Upside Down creatures into the arena and burn them. Murray takes the flamethrower, Joyce monitors security, and Hopper heads into the laundry room to draw a Demodog out, reassuring Joyce before leaving that he would not miss his date this time. The Upside Down Munson trailer is surrounded by the bat creatures, with one forcing its way through the vent, forcing Dustin and Eddie to defend themselves. In the Creel House, the trio sneaks their way up the stairs, when a random earthquake alerts Vecna of the trio's presence. Vines grapple Robin and pin her against the wall, and soon take Nancy and Steve as they attempt to help. In Russia, Hopper approaches the laundry room and baits the Demodog to follow him and flees through the halls. Eddie covers the first hole with a trash can lid, but the bats force their way in through the vents. Dustin climbs through the gate back to the real world, but instead of following, Eddie cuts the rope. He then rides out on his bike, deliberately drawing the bats away from the trailer. Max attempts to ward off Vecna with good memories, but he reveals that he has seen through their plan and throws her against the wall. At the same time, Lucas tries to explain Vecna to Jason, but Jason twists it into proof that Hellfire Club is a cult and accuses Eddie of killing Chrissy. When Lucas admits Chrissy went to Eddie’s trailer for drugs, Jason turns on him completely. As Jason threatens to shoot unless Max is woken, Lucas lunges and tackles him, triggering a gunshot. The distraction incapacitates Andy, allowing Erica to escape back to the Creel House. Jason and Lucas brawl, with Jason gaining the upper hand and crushing Max’s Walkman underfoot. In the Snow Ball, Vecna advances on Max, only to be violently thrown back as Eleven intervenes. Eddie leads the swarm away from the trailer park, as Dustin tries to climb back into the Upside Down, injuring his leg. Eddie is knocked off his bike, starts to run, then stops—remembering how he fled when Chrissy was murdered—and turns back to stand his ground. At the gulag, Hopper runs through the halls as Joyce tensely watches from the cameras. Back in Hawkins, Erica runs to the attic while Jason and Lucas continue to fight. Inside Max’s memories, Eleven reunites with her, though Max briefly doubts she’s real. The moment is cut short when Vecna rises from the bleachers and attacks. In the Upside Down, Dustin limps outside the trailer to find Eddie overwhelmed by bats. Vecna overpowers Eleven, knocking Max unconscious when she tries to intervene. He captures Eleven, trapping her in his mindscape, before hoisting Max’s unconscious body into place. As a last-ditch effort, Eleven reveals that Brenner is dead and acknowledges how he shaped Vecna’s suffering. Vecna rejects the idea of Brenner as a monster, framing him instead as a man obsessed with control—an obsession that ultimately failed. He credits Eleven as the true catalyst of his transformation, explaining that exile to the Upside Down led him to the Mind Flayer and a world untouched by humanity. To bring that chaos to Hawkins, he needed a gate, which Eleven inadvertently created in 1983. When she destroyed the Demogorgon and closed it, Vecna turned to targeting her to claim her power using the spider monster. Vecna tells her friends have lost; Lucas continues to be beaten by Jason while Erica is locked out unable to assist; Hopper is tackled by a demodog; Eddie is pinned down by demobats and is slowly mauled; Nancy, Steve, and Robin are choked by vines. As Vecna approaches Max to finish the creation of the gate, Max's physical body begins to float. Eleven starts suffocating in the freezer tank and is pulled from the tub as Mike finally admits his love for her, giving her the strength to break free of Vecna’s control. In the Creel House, Lucas knocks Jason unconscious, only to watch in horror as Max’s body begins to break. Eleven intervenes at the last moment, tearing herself free and hurling Vecna away from Max, pinning him against a spike, as Max's body falls to the floor. In Kamchatka, Joyce rushes to Hopper and kills a Demodog with a taser. As they flee a charging Demogorgon, they reach the courtyard and are cornered until Murray unleashes the flamethrower from the stands. The attack ripples through the hive mind, sending Vecna into convulsions, killing the demobats swarming Eddie, and releasing the vines restraining Steve, Nancy, and Robin. They continue onto the attic and find Vecna’s body. In the mindscape, Vecna insists the battle is only beginning, but Eleven rejects his claim of victory, making it clear that he has failed. The fully grown Demogorgon is the last creature standing. Out of ammunition, Hopper grabs a sword and charges it, severing its arm before finally killing it with a decapitating strike. Steve ignites Vecna’s body with a Molotov, collapsing his mindscape and jolting Max awake. As Vecna rises, Robin hurls another Molotov and Nancy fires repeatedly, sending him falling from the attic window. Joyce embraces Hopper as Murray celebrates, just as Dmitri and Yuri arrive in a repaired Katinka. Outside the Creel House, the older teens find Vecna's body gone, leaving only scorched remains behind. Dustin reaches a mortally wounded Eddie, who dies after proving to himself that he didn’t run. As Dustin breaks down, Erica forces open the attic door and finds Lucas cradling a severely injured Max. She rushes off to call for help while Max fades, blind and unresponsive. In the Void, Eleven sobs alongside Lucas as Max, terrified, succumbs to her injuries. In the Upside Down, the Creel House clock chimes four times as Robin, Nancy, and Steve realize Max is gone. The house begins to quake as massive cracks tear through the attic. In the real Creel House, a red fissure rips through the room, splitting Jason in half before tearing through the house and spreading across Hawkins. The fractures converge at the town library, which explodes in a devastating shockwave. As Hawkins trembles, Karen shields Holly at the Wheeler House. Back at Surfer Boy Pizza, Mike begs Eleven to wake up. In the Void, Eleven refuses to let Max go and uses her powers to restart her heart. Two days later, the California crew arrive in Hawkins, only to find a line of Hawkins residents leaving the town. The opening of the Upside Down is dismissed as an earthquake. Ted Wheeler watches the news report about the disaster, and Karen begins packing while helping Nancy, Steve, Dustin, and Robin load up Steve's car with donations. The moment is interrupted by the California crew’s arrival, and the group reunites in emotional embraces. Jonathan reunites with Nancy, apologizing for the silence and hinting at what he’s been protecting her from, while Robin quietly supports Steve. When Eleven and Will ask about Lucas, Dustin’s reaction makes it clear something is wrong. At Hawkins Memorial Hospital, Lucas is reading to a comatose Max, her body immobilized in casts. When the others arrive, he explains that Max is alive only by a miracle—her heart stopped for over a minute, and no one knows if she will wake. Reaching into the Void, Eleven finds Max’s mind completely empty and cries out her name. At Hawkins High School, Steve, Robin, and Dustin help distribute donations among the injured and displaced. Steve sorts clothing while Robin is sent to the kitchen, where an awkward reunion with Vickie quickly turns warm, drawing a quiet smile from Steve as he watches them talk. Dustin is handing out water but stops when he sees Wayne Munson put up missing posters for Eddie. When Dustin approaches, Wayne is initially guarded, but Dustin stops him, produces Eddie’s guitar pick, and breaks down. He tells Wayne the truth—that Eddie fought to protect a town that turned on him, and that he died a hero. Eleven, Mike, Will, Nancy, Jonathan, and Argyle arrive at Hopper's Cabin in the Surfer Boy Pizza van and decide to spruce it up. Jonathan and Nancy acknowledge their distance, while Mike and Will reflect on Eleven’s struggle and the unsettling realization that Vecna is still alive and present in Hawkins. The uneasy calm is broken when a car arrives, revealing Hopper and Joyce’s return. Eleven is reunited with Hopper at last, her faith vindicated, and the moment expands into a long-awaited family reunion as Joyce and Mike join them. Will suddenly senses Vecna’s presence as dark clouds gather overhead and dark particles fall from the sky. Meanwhile, all over Hawkins, the people take notice as well: Karen and Holly at the Wheeler house, Lucas and Erica at the hospital, and Steve, Robin, Vickie, Dustin, and Wayne at Hawkins High. Joyce, Hopper, Eleven, Mike, Will, Nancy, and Jonathan move to a field overlooking the town, where four massive storm fronts converge above the open gates, red lightning rippling through the clouds. As the grass beneath them withers, the group realizes that the Upside Down is beginning its invasion of Hawkins.</Scenario> Joyce — close, emotionally charged
