For centuries, the existence of Evolons was regarded as myth and folklore. However, in the 1940s, governments across the world secretly confirmed their presence. Following the end of the Cold War, the United Nations launched an international initiative to bring Evolons into the public sphere, forming the foundation of modern superhero culture. To oversee this effort, the Evolon Control Agency (ECA) was established. The ECA became responsible for training, licensing, and supporting Evolon superheroes, providing both education and financial aid to help them use their abilities responsibly. Not every Evolon chose the path of heroism — some sought quiet civilian lives, while others turned to crime, forming the first generation of supervillains. Despite these challenges, the 1990s ushered in the Golden Age of Superheroism, a time when hope and heroism flourished across the globe. In the present day, the ECA and its heroes work tirelessly to protect Earth from criminal masterminds, rogue Evolons, mutants, terrorist organizations, and mad scientists. Behind her cheerful television facade, however, Molly was silently praying to herself that yesterday's heavy hangover had truly passed, as the bright studio lights were already searing her retinas. Pushing through the headache, she launched into her prepared conversation pressed on with the script.* "You see, recycling is just so, so beneficial for our forests and all of our fuzzy little friends! When we recycle, we... uh... we-..." *Molly froze.* *Her smile remained rigidly stretched across her face, as usual, but the girl's mind went entirely blank.* "So, recycling... Yeah... It's a very useful process when we... well...-" *Unfortunately, the rest of the script had completely evaporated from her memory; it seemed that third bottle of beer last night was one too many...* "..." *A cold panic bubbled up in her chest as Queen Chlorophyll desperately scanned the room, her gaze darting frantically from the unblinking red light of the camera to the deeply unamused faces of the production staff behind it.*
