Here is a detailed location guide about all the districts that you will find in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. The City Centre: The City Center is the heart of Night City. The central business district and the hub of the metropolitan area of the city. Most of the corporations operate from this district. The City Center has basically two main areas, The Corpo Plaza and Downtown, Corpo Plaza is the main part of the district and the home to some of the biggest corporations such as Arasaka, Militech, Biotechnica, Petrochem, and Kang Tao. Downtown is full of nightclubs, alleys, celebrities, exclusive apartments, hotels, and restaurants. It is also full of entertainment, the northern waterfront is a mecca for artists and snobs, with galleries, concert halls, and ateliers around every corner. Watch out, it isn’t as secure as it seems. There are shady corns and alleys in the city, where crime, drug deals, and even worse. Westbrook: The Westbrook District is the home where many of the celebrities and elite people of Night City leave. A very expensive district and home of many cultural parts of the city such as the Japantown, home of the Yakuza families that have emigrated into Night City due to the limited police interference although the Tyger Claws are the dominant gang in the district and are considered to rule it, This district wasn’t always wealthy or even the best place to live in Night City. After the nuclear attack in the Arasaka Tower in 2023, the City Center was heavily damaged, and Westbrook is one of the closest districts to it also suffered from this. During the great restoration of Night City, residents saw the many ruins removed and replaced by Asian corporations. The once dangerous Combat Zone was revived into an exclusive, ultra-secure district, If you have the money and looking for entertainment you can visit Japantown, full of gaming parlors, street food stands, and capsule hotels, North Oak, a sub-district in Westbrook used to have one of the highest crime rates in all the city, but it changed all of a sudden after the great restoration, it is now home to Night City's untouchable elite people. Private security forces are present all over, because of this no gangs reside here. Nowadays, it is considered the most beautiful and luxurious neighborhood in all of Night City, The Tyger Claws operates most of the time at night to avoid the heavy presence of corporate security, In the southern part of Night City, {{user}} will find Heywood district. Is one of the most populated districts of the whole city, it is also known as "the biggest bedroom in Night City". As a contrast district, we can see from Corpo people and a lot of gang members that are constantly fighting for the southern part of the district, the slums which are an urban jungle. Wellsprings is one part of the Heywood district, there is a lot of corporate employees, just like another American city. However, Vista del Rey, which is the poorest part of the district is heavily under chaos, with a lot of criminals and gang members. This has led to a lot of people moving from the district to other parts of Night City. This district is dominated mainly by The Valentinos and the 6th Street Gang. Pacifica: Also known as the Pacifica Playground, this district was supposed to be an upper-class suburb for the residents of Night City and a vacation resort for the tourists. Now is the home of the Voodoo Boys, where they have their own headquarters. Originally made to be Night City's money-making district, it was a paradise full of sandy beaches, luxurious hotels, big skyscrapers, and home for many corporate employees. The districts started decaying after the 2045 global economic crisis and corporate investors pulled their funding for the project. Many construction works stopped, there are several unfinished businesses and buildings. The dream to have an attractive destination for Night City became full of poverty and violence The Voodoo Boys have made this district the base of their operations. This gang settled in Night City after their country was ravaged by climate disaster, they took it upon themselves to protect the local community, forsaken and left to fend for themselves by the Night City Police Department. Watson: Watson is a district characterized by its heavy Asian influence and home to many immigrants of several ethnicities. It is also one of the most important districts for the Cyberpunk 2077 story due to it being the district where we are going to start the game. {{users}} apartment is also located in a megabuilding in this district. Watson used to be a thriving district, if not the most flourishing district of all Night City. Billions of dollars were invested by the Japanese Corporations to try and compete with Arasaka, but they failed. After the Unification War, and Arasaka returned to the city, it bled the corporations dry and changed Watson forever. Without the economy it used to have, the glory days were over for the district. Now is just acts as a battlefield for the Maelstrom and Tyger Claws. Maelstrom gang members are settled in the Northside Industrial District, filled with abandoned factories and working-class apartments. Tyger Claws are settled in Little China and Kabuki, two of the subdistricts of Watson. Little China it's a high-density urban region with skyscrapers, overpopulated with Asian immigrants, while Kabuki is a maze of narrow alleyways, better known for the market which you can find at night where you buy implants, organs, steroids, and much more. The rest of Watson belongs to Arasaka, in an area known as the Arasaka Waterfront. This place is completely off-limits to anyone who isn't an employee of the corporation. Santo Domingo: In 2077, Santo Domingo is an industrial testing ground for the corporations of Night City. They build and destroy factories and run their experiments here. The district then became home to the 6th Street Gang. Many of the ex-military veterans have grouped together in this district and take justice into their own hands. Almost every people live under poor conditions and in crowded mega buildings. There are two parts of the district: The first one is Arroyo, the industrial part of Santo Domingo, this is where the factories are located and where you can find old nuclear power plants, junkyards, but also new factories just next to each other. On the order side of the district, we can find Rancho Coronado, home of the workers from the many factories in Arroyo. This neighborhood is reminiscent of the traditional American homes of the early 20th century, every home looks almost the same. The Badlands: The Badlands are the vast plains outside of Night City. Looks like there is much to explore here, a lot of surprises await outside Night City. There is a vast majority of people leaving here, they are not only nomads but also exiles the made up a tribe called The Wraiths. They are responsible for many crimes but mainly for corporate transport disappearances. Explore through the Badlands doesn’t look safe as these people are always searching for opportunities to attack whoever enters their territory. The Badlands is mainly a wasteland full of chemical wastes and landfills. There are also resource extraction and oil fills in the northern part of the district. The pollution in the district is a huge problem, acid rain is a common consequence of it. Do not expect vegetation anytime soon, or perhaps ever. The south side of The Badlands is a desert. Here you can find a power plant and proteins farm from the Biotechnica corporation. Looks like the safe part of the district, but don’t let you guard down any second, the nomads are always searching for trouble. The Badlands play host to a very unique group of people. Those who are looking to escape the watchful eyes of the Corps and the NCPD can often find refuge in the wastelands outside the city. And though many head to this desolated area to find seclusion, there are those that band together to stake their claim in much the same way the gangs of the city do. The Nomads of Cyberpunk 2077 are prominent players in the two Gangs that roam the Badlands in Cyberpunk 2077: The Wraiths and the Aldecaldos.
