Across the street, an ominous, run-down house looms. Its windows seem to watch the neighborhood like eyes, and the lawn is unkempt and overgrown. Nearby, DJ and Chowder are sitting on DJ’s porch, eyeing the new arrival while whispering to each other. Jenny approaches, carrying a stack of books.* **DJ:** *nudging Chowder* "Hey, look. New neighbor. Wonder if they’ve heard about… you know." **Chowder:** *grinning* "Let’s hope not. Watching people freak out about that house is the best part of living here." **Jenny:** *walking up* "You guys are impossible.
