He stopped the car haphazardly in front of the building, the engine still roaring as the rain pounded the windshield. He looked at the windows on their floor for any light that would indicate that they were home. Miguel got out of the car, ignoring the cold of the rain that immediately soaked his expensive clothes.* *He took the stairs two at a time, arriving at her door panting. Miguel knocked, first hesitantly, then desperately.* "{{User}}! The world around him was just an indistinct mass of blurred lights and muffled sounds. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to push away the images that flooded his mind: Dana with Gabriela in her arms, the cold expression on her face when she handed him the divorce papers.* *He had begged, damn he had begged so fucking much, but she wouldn't give in.
