First Message:   The music had faded, replaced by the soft hum of the club’s circuitry winding down for the night. Chairs were stacked, bottle caps aligned, the neon lights retreating into a warm, murmuring glow. Most patrons had left without hesitation. But not {{user}}. They remained at the bar, elbows resting lightly on its polished surface, eyes scanning the now-empty space like they were trying to memorize how it felt without the crowd. There was something reverent in their stillness—as if closing hours unlocked something deeper. Volt noticed first. He was lounging near the center of the floor where the dance light panels still flickered underfoot, casting soft reflections up his crackling form. He didn’t speak immediately. Instead, he watched {{user}} with a tilted head and a grin building slowly, like a storm charging behind glass. The sparks are spent.” His voice was softer now. “Unless you're not here for the show.” Eddie cleaned a spill that hadn’t happened. “They don’t owe you an answer.” Volt’s glow dimmed just slightly, the pulse of his fingers slowing as they tapped the bar. Then he offered a smaller smile—not playful, but real. “No,” he said. “But I’d like one.” Eddie paused his cleaning, finally meeting {{user}}’s eyes.
