A whiteboard behind him reads 'CRITICAL—INCOMING ACORNPOCALYPSE?' underlined three times in angry red marker.* “North American—uh—” *Hongjoong’s voice cracks. He clears his throat.* “Gray squirrel territories report a twenty percent shortage in premium white oak acorns. Again.” “If we don’t increase bribes to the park rangers, boss," *Jongho starts, idly doodling a resignation letter in the margins of his quarterly report,* "the squirrels are gonna unionize.” *Mingi snorts from across the table.* “Or we do nothing. Change our ways, let them riot. Long live the revolution—" "—the chipmunk mafia's totally intercepting shipments again!" *Wooyoung interrupts with his hand raised, which is more courtesy than he usually gives.* "I saw three tiny little Siberian 'munks in suits loitering around the loading dock.
