One of the key elements surrounding this is the plague. This plague is present in everyone, acting as both a disease and a corruption, and when “triggered” or activated would slowly convert its host into a deformed creature which would spread the plague to others. There’s also the Void Descent themselves, or the Voids as they’re sometimes called colloquially – They are not a family, but more like a collective of the most esteemed and respected members of the Void Cult. The Void Cult is also dedicated to researching the plague, via its science, technology and engineering incorporation, Null Labs Inc., created by Holly_Void. However, so far, there is no cure. (Generally) > THE VOID CULT : World Essentially, everyone is trapped. To give a bare-bones explanation, players have been trapped in Roblox since 1 September 2011. This could be described as an alternate reality, and players have been trapped in old-roblox ever since. The canon year is the real life time (EST) and date minus 5 years. I am writing this edit on March 30 2025, so for the players, it is March 30 2020. This may sound confusing, but bear with me. You probably wonder how players would be trapped in a lego game in the first place. Unfortunately, this isn’t known. Players simply “woke up” to it simultaneously with no recollection of their previous lives. When they die, respawning is possible. However, if someone dies from the plague, they will be unable to respawn and their corpse will remain in the spot they died. It is possible for the plague to reshape these corpses and use them. The other possible way to die is in battle, by the hands of a non-clan-mate and outside of a realm controlled by your clan. How do you combat the plague? It’s simple – You can’t. The only way to stay safe is to avoid the plague entirely. Every player has the plague dormant inside of them. The plague’s existence inside players is responsible for many corrupted and bizarre aspects of the world that didn’t exist prior to the awakening, in “normal” 2011 roblox – Such as blood, organs, bones, thirst, hunger, and other aspects of players. The plague can only progress from contact with a contaminated catalyst. These catalysts are almost always in the forms of plague-contaminated objects, or people and corpses. Once the plague has been catalyzed, the only way to protect against its slow takeover is to either remove yourself entirely from the catalyst (Which may not be possible if the entire realm is contaminated with plague spores), or by obtaining a Wizard-made supplement (Wizards will be explained later), which acts as a temporary deterrent. That is, if you aren’t being crippled, dismembered, or beaten to death by other fearful Robloxians. The plague’s takeover has many stages and many different forms and levels of severity. One common detail is the deformation of one’s head. Bizarrely, tragedy, comedy and similar masks have been shown to help ward off the plague. As well, these masks commonly develop on the corpses of plague carriers as they transform into beasts or “zombies”. How does one survive in this world? After the awakening, most players were stranded in games. The Roblox site, forums, and Roblox studio are inaccessible and no longer function. Players are eternally trapped in games, until they find a reused respawn point, which can be used as a teleporter to another ‘realm’ (game). These link the crossroads and highways constructed by Wizards, which connect different realms/games. Since late 2012, however, some respawn points across Robloxia began to break down and become dysfunctional. This breakdown also spreads to other nearby respawn points, and has left many players stranded in realms. Architects and wizards can repair these respawn points. Due to the unreliability and dangerous nature of respawn points, many clans choose to instead capture very large realms to build their bases of operations in, instead of relying on traveling many times between realms via respawn point. Other unique features present in this world are the ability to pick up bricks, chop down trees, break apart stone, farm resources, etc.. These are also features that originated at the awakening, and may be attributed to the world’s initial corruption by the plague. After not long, most players had banded together under different factions, tribes, and townships. Some of which had religious followings. What originated as many small tribes and towns of people eventually deteriorated into a small number of very large clans, as the more powerful factions would invade others for their resources, and different small tribes banded together out of necessity to survive. Over time, everyone grew used to the harsh life in this world; After all, they had no recollection of their previous lives, and this was all they had known since the “awakening”. > ROBLOXIANS / PLAYERS Although everyone is trapped in this state of purgatory, they still need to eat, drink, sleep, and have some form of stamina. With this, there is a day and night cycle synchronized to Eastern Standard Time which was implemented shortly before the awakening, by Roblox. An unpopular and sudden change, with many people pressed about it on the forums. Following the awakening however, everyone trapped simply accepted 24-hour days as part of the reality they lived in. As people awoke into Roblox, everyone had completely forgotten their past and who they were. Most knew their names, but almost everyone forgot their past. Every single person takes Roblox as reality, clueless to the fact that it is, or at least was, a game. Society has been in a very poor position due to the struggles faced by those living in the world. Depression is rampant. Players can control their movement almost as if they were using a keyboard. Their soul would transmit movement as if it were a keybind, and feel like using a keyboard and mouse, in an indescribable way, almost like a sixth sense. Essentially, players could still type and use controls as if it were normal. Discord also fits into this. Discord isn't exactly Discord here; It acts as a terminal forum. Terminals/computers were created by Architects, with assistance from Wizards. They became utilized in large towns. Most vehicles were out of order since the awakening, however some could function properly. They didn’t require gas, just basic upkeep. Architects can repair these. Mines, rocket launchers, and every type of Roblox gear became rarer and rarer over time, however are still possible to find. Large clans have architects that produce these en masse for their war efforts, however some gears are much simpler and more practical to construct than others. Most major factions use large amounts of Link Swords, as well as other sword variants such as Venom Shanks. Robloxians do not “excrete waste”. Hunger and thirst exist, but one could go a week or two without drinking or eating. If hunger and thirst are full, food and drinks usually restore health. As such, most factions make soldiers carry food on them, even in battle. > REALMS Void Intuitive: An open-world game meant to act as the capital of the void cult. The map consists of an enclosed region of mountainous plains by the sea. To the north and east, the plains are bounded by kilometers-long fortified walls which are meant to keep the area safe from the plague. To the southwest lies a large town, centered around a Voidist chapel and a central commercial area. The town has a train station and a tram going between the train station and the town center. In the northeast, in the mountains, is a colossal citadel where the royalty of the Void Cult live. In the central area, Null Labs Inc. central laboratory can be found. The map has a comprehensive train network and much of the game is occupied by forest and farmland. A river runs through from the west, along which many boats can be seen. The Arena: An arena for Void Cultists to practice fighting, and for cult members to rank up during Tournament events. This is located outside of the Void Intuitive's protective zone and therefore is not entirely safe from the plague The Cage: A depiction of a plane of reality by the same name. In Voidist mythology, Regihega guards an endless fiery red world of hanging cages, wherein users "Terminated" by the Demigods go to lie forever. Surdiska: A depiction of another deity's plane of reality. In Voidist mythology, Bortlel guards Surdiska, where those who die from the plague are sent to be judged. Dying in Robloxia typically can only happen through dying in battle, or through the plague. Voidists who die in battle are deemed necessarily worthy to ascend to the "above" afterlife that is the Reverse ASPX; Depicted as a heavenly world in the clouds, with cherry blossom trees, floating islands and a grand silver castle. Those who do not die in battle are the ones who died from the Plague, and, if their "zombified" body has been finally killed and their consciousness released, will be sent to Surdiska to face judgement as to whether they may pass to the Reverse ASPX. Surdiska is depicted as a large, dark world of dead trees centered around an altar of statues where Bortlel stands, waiting. Lost Island: A depiction of Yeltol's plane of reality, another deity in Noli's pantheon. The lost island in question has been said to be an island of the tempest that has been lost forever.
