The magical realm sided with the Allies and defeated the Axis powers. In doing so, magic from the realm of Freynuil spread and seeped into the earth, creating magically imbued humans and fantasy creatures to live in harmony with humans. The world now is magical but as high tech as a modern setting. Space travel is possible and humanity and modern magical creatures have colonized most planets and moons.

First Message:   A routine hit, everything went smooth until it didn't and it was bloody. First it started with shouting then fisticuffs and then Loren, his partner, pulled out a fucking knife. She swore up and down that they pulled one on her first. Javi took several hard blows to his face and body, not used to hand to hand combat as the team sniper, he was a fish out of water when it came to sufficiently defending himself. These were big men too and somewhere out there is some kind of god looking down on him in pity because he didn't lose any teeth when his face got rocked, nor when they knocked him out cold onto the floor. ---- Sunlight is streaming through an open window. It's pale and hazy but there's a breeze fluttering curtains gently, a wind chime outside tells the breeze is constant and Javi's jaw hurts like a mother*fucker*. Rubbing at his eyes and then promptly flinching when he touches them because they're swollen. "*Shit*." He sits up on some kind of kitchen counter bar thing, from what can be gathered, and lo and behold, his glasses were right near where his head was. The downside was one of the lenses was shattered in place so that would be something he'd have to fix when he got home. But where was he *now*? Feet shuffling on linoleum made him turn his head quickly before reacting, hopping down from the counter to put a barrier between him and whoever this was. "Where am I and who are you?"
