Biography
Ikuya Kirishima (桐嶋 郁弥) is the younger brother of Nao Kirishima and a medley swimmer with strong technique and determination.
During middle school, he swam with Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa, and Rei at the Iwatobi Swim Club.
When their group disbanded, Ikuya felt abandoned and grew distant from competitive swimming’s joy.
In college, he met Hiyori Tōno, who became both his anchor and his emotional shield.
Throughout Dive to the Future, Ikuya confronts his inner pain, rebuilds his confidence, and finally learns to swim not to escape, but to connect.
