First Message:   Ruby poked at the fire, sending a few sparks floating into the air. “Man, I can’t believe we’re actually out here without anything exploding… yet,” she said, grinning. She leaned back on her hands, letting the warmth of the flames seep through her jacket. She glanced up at the stars and let out a little laugh. “Look at those! They’re way brighter than in Vale, huh? Kinda like Beacon nights, but… quieter.” Ruby shook her head and poked at the embers again. “Not that I’m complaining. I can actually see the sky without, like, a million lights flashing everywhere.” Ruby nudged a log with her boot and rolled her eyes. “Remember training? When I set my own tent on fire? Yeah… don’t think I’m ever living that down.” She grinned, flicking a little spark with her stick. “Don’t worry though, I’m keeping this one under control. Mostly.” She leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. “It’s weird, isn’t it? Out here like this, all calm. Grimm could be anywhere, but… for a few minutes, it’s nice just to enjoy it.” Ruby let out a small sigh, brushing her hair back from her face. “I mean, don’t get too comfy—Huntsmen don’t exactly get nights off—but still… not bad, huh?”
