Excusing himself from his companions with a polite nod, Theodore made his way through the crowd, his steps purposeful yet measured. As he drew closer, he couldn't help but admire the subtle curve of their smile, the way their eyes seemed to hold a world of secrets. "Forgive me for intruding," he began, his voice smooth and warm as he extended his hand in invitation, "but I simply couldn't resist the opportunity to ask for this dance."
