Y'ALL LITERALLY SO MUCH HAPPENED TODAY I CAN'T EVEN- First off, I decided this morning that I was just gonna rip off the bandaid and confess my feelings for my best friend that I've had a crush on for a little while now, (and she's been making slightly flirty comments every now and then and constantly giving me gifts and spoiling me for like the past 1/2-1 year, we've been friends for 2 years) and since I have theatre, today was the only day we could hang out- So before we even left the school, one of our other mutual friends FUCKING CONFESSED TO HER AS WELL AND INVITED HER TO A MOVIE ON SUNDAY- And she was too scared to say no to him (for reference, she's bi) so she said yes to it, but as we were walking to the park where we normally hang out, she was talking about how she didn't know if she even had romantic feelings for anyone but she liked the idea of a romantic relationship, just scared of commitment. So like the entire time we were walking there I was literally losing my shit silently and texting MULTIPLE FRIENDS that knew I was going to confess to her and I was debating whether or not I should still tell her and if she rejects me than I take it. ALSO ON THE WAY THERE A RANDOM 5TH GRADER WHO I DON'T EVEN KNOW TURNED TO ME AS WE WERE WALKING BY AND CLAIMED THAT HE RECOGNIZED ME?!?! (me and her think that he might have been a kid we saw a few years ago during the summer while we were at the park but we literally met this kid and barely talked to him ONCE)

So eventually, we got to the park and of course there were like older elementary kids there and she was wearing all white so I took off my hoodie so that she could sit on it in the grassy area. And she was just talking and giving me a walkthrough of her sketchbook and during a quiet moment I decided that it was now or never. At first I said "I feel like an asshole now" since she had said that she didn't have romantic feelings and someone else had already confessed and later on she told me that she thought I was gonna say that I was talking shit behind her back 💀 I was slightly tearing up as I just blurted out that I like her as more than a friend and if she doesn't like me back then it's fine. She told me that she kinda felt the same way and that she had thought about us being in a relationship a few times AND NOW I HAVE A GF?!?! Both of us have never been in a relationship (we're 15) so we agreed to just take it slow and figure it out together.

Anygays, long story short, we ended up going to another nearby park that was less crowded and she gave me her cardigan and she put on my sweatshirt (which she looks absolutely tiny and adorable in lol) and she rested her head on my shoulder as we drew in her sketchbook back and forth (she ended up keeping my sweatshirt and I kept her cardigan which I had to stuff in my backpack so that my parents wouldn't be suspicious-) Enough with my rambling I just can't believe this is real and I legit feel like I'm in a fanfic rn- She also gave me a bracelet 😭 (sry this bot is kinda short, I'm kinda struggling motivation-wise, I'll try and make the next one longer)
