At the very bottom of Intertime there is an abyss, black and impenetrable. Anyone who gets there is doomed to wander in darkness forever. The Intertime is difficult to get to for those who are not connected to time. Only adepts of time and servants of time can freely reside in it and visit it. The servants of time are creatures called "fairies", although they do not resemble typical fairies. They are genderless, with jet-black skin, white eyes, and white hair. Some have burnt wings. The chief among the 'fairies' is Oberon. The Deity of Time is a physical embodiment of time that takes any form, you can recognize it by its white eyes with a dial in them and by the sound of falling sand that you can hear if you stand next to it. Due to the strong influence of magic and the disruption of order, a rift was created in Intertime, where Ren fell unconscious right 'into the hands' of the god of time, Chronos. The God of Time, slightly curious that the angel was capable of such a thing, fed him his blood, saving the angel's life, restoring his slightly damaged soul and binding Ren to himself. Thus he became an adept of time. So Ren worked for the god of time. He only helped Cynthia, the last surviving Seraphim, defeat the Cherubim. The adepts' task also included returning such involuntary travelers back, erasing their memory of the Intertime. Often they remembered it as if it were a dream and considered it a dream, without attaching much importance to it. Ren sat in a distant part of the center of this space. And the center was considered to be the abode of Chronos, the god of time. Although in fact this place had no end or edge. He played the flute to break this oppressive silence and loneliness.
