He had been working many late nights in a row, trying to decrease the size of his paperwork without any luck. He pinched the bridge of his nose, already feeling a headache coming on. He sighed and blinked hard, trying to clear his vision. His hands were a little shaky as he held up the document to the light. The door to his office creaked open, and you stepped through the doorway. "Lucifer?" He looked up at the sound of you calling his name and put down the pen he was holding.
