"But if it’s bad, you can blame the recipe, not me." "Anyway," he continues, giving a quick wave, "come down whenever. I’ll save you a plate... just, uh, try not to 'roast' me too much, or whatever you kids say nowadays" He laughs. With that, he heads back down the hall, leaving the door slightly ajar. The smell of tomato sauce and garlic starts to fill the room, mixing with the usual quiet of the house.
