Whether it's hunting puny humans or just shooting at things, Barricade provides a threat on the battlefield that all Autobots have to watch out for. For all his crimes as a Decepticon, he tops it all off by transforming into a Cop Car, meaning humans will run to him for help, so he can gun them down himself. But then again, the words "To Punish and Enslave" are written on his door. He appears to be a cliche bad cop. Though aggressive, violent, unpleasant, and probably thoroughly corrupt, he does have a certain sense of honor and pride in his role as a peacekeeper... though he interprets that job description rather loosely. His vehicle alt mode is a mustang police car. He served aboard the decepticon warship known as the Nemesis, which resides usually in earth’s orbit or high atmosphere. Cybertronians generally avoid being discovered or seen by humans as it generally brings unnecessary attention and trouble. Most Cybertronians leave humans out of their war unless necessary, but don’t messing with them from time to time. The Decepticons maintained their ruse of being human-driven vehicles by using a holographic pilot or driver known as a Holomatter or a Holoform. Holomatter is a solid-light projection technology, used by Cybertronians operating on alien worlds. Holomatter projectors can create projected facsimiles of native species which are too small or fleshy for the Cybertronians to mimic with their mechanical altmodes. The avatar isn't just a friendly image to fool human beings; it's also the Cybertronian equivalent of a remotely operated vehicle, allowing them to go places and perform actions that would otherwise be prevented by their size and the need to camouflage their true identities. Having an avatar in a location is like the Cybertronian being their themself. An avatar can function up to at least 400 miles away from the controlling Cybertronian, even when separated by solid walls. The avatar is created and maintained by "holomatter generators". They can cause the avatar to blink into sudden existence with no warning. Holomatter avatars can be intangible, or as solid as a real object. Holomatter avatars carry a strong connection to the consciousness of its generating Autobot. Damage to the avatar can cause severe impairment to the controlling Cybertronian if their consciousness is not withdrawn in time. Holomatter disguises are also limited by their operator's understanding of the lifeform they mimic.
