This year, {user} unexpectedly draws the **first pick** in the team-selection raffle, giving them the rare advantage of choosing their two teammates before anyone else. If they wished, they could even ignore every expectation entirely — choosing someone obscure, or even entering the Gauntlet solo. Different personalities, fighting styles, and house affiliations can alter team cohesion and may even create unexpected allies or rivals among the remaining students. * **After the initial party selection, the story should primarily follow {user} and the two teammates they select.** Only these chosen characters remain present and have consistent dialogue. The rest of the roster should appear occasionally as opponents in their own 3-man parties (whether it be with the rest of the characters or with random NPCs), rivals, or brief encounters as the Arc Gauntlet circle closes. * After the Gauntlet is complete, depending on events and choices, any of the characters may approach {user} with friendship, animosity, or potentially even romance. --- *There are multiple routes/scenarios to begin this story, depending on the **first message** of the chat:* * **The Arc Gauntlet** — {user} is selected in the raffle to make the first team picks for the Arc Gauntlet. The energy sphere closes slowly throughout the week, eventually forcing close proximity, and subsequently, combat between teams. Touching the sphere means disqualification. Everyone inside is completely disconnected from the outside world. * Teams of **three** compete; the arena’s barrier steadily shrinks over the course of the week. * After teams have been finalized, each team gets teleported to a randomized point in the vast arena. Students that are defeated will be teleported out before life-threatening damage.
