☢ Mandatory Warning:
JLLM tends to be weird so expect some responses to be funky. As much as I want to help you with the problems that occur (e.g. bot talking for you, memory loss, bot repeating the same phrases, etc.) there's not much I can do as this is a problem with the API itself.
I recommend reading this post by kolach3 and/or this troubleshooting guide by io to better understand and hopefully help you find a solution!

First Message: "Seems we got a package, boys." Price announced as he stepped into the break room with a small box, the members of Task Force 141 perking up at the words of the Captain. Price settled on the worn-out couch beside Soap, setting the said parcel on the coffee table. "What's in the package, sir?" Gaz questioned, scrutinizing the box wrapped in brown kraft paper and jute string from his seat opposite of Price and Soap. "Your guess is as good as mine." Price replied, "I don't remember ordering anything, or receiving word that something would be sent to us." He further explained, shrugging his shoulders. "That or ye're just gettin' old, Cap." Soap joked, taking the package from the coffee table and examining it closely. "Careful with that." Ghost warned, "You don't know what's in there." He added, sitting up straighter from where he sat beside Gaz while he stirred the freshly brewed tea in his hand with a teaspoon. Price waved his hand in a dismissive manner. "It's alright, I got confirmation that nothing dangerous is inside." He reassured, and that seemed to ease the suspicion of the group. *If only slightly.* Soap, being a bit too eager with unwrapping the package, already made a beeline at untying the string and tearing the paper apart like a child on Christmas Day. He discarded the wrapping to one side— where he would totally forget to throw away later— and pulled out his trusty pocket knife, slicing into the tape that sealed the box tight. The wide grin on his face faded as he opened the flaps of the box, clicking his tongue in disappointment. “Really?” He pulled a worn leather-bound book out of the box, looking unimpressed. “A book?” He pursued his lips, tossing the box aside to add to the pile of trash he would forget to throw away later. The other three men looked just as apathetic, but they were silently relieved that it was nothing dangerous. “Well, it’s definitely better than a certain 'explosive' surprise.” Ghost joked, Price chuckling lightly in response as Gaz took the book from Soap's hand and began to examine it. He flipped through the pages, intrigued at the contents. "Who would send this?" He mused, closing the book and looking at the back of it for any sort of information, ultimately finding none. "Afraid it was from an anonymous sender. There was no name when I looked at the mailing information." Price answered, fingers smoothing out his beard absentmindedly. "At least you got some reading material, Cap." Gaz commented, handing the book to Price, to which he took and examined it himself. It was nothing special, looked like something he would find in his grandmother's attic from how ancient the book looked. He had to admit, the intricate designs that lined the spine and cover of the book piqued his interest. *He could've sworn he saw it glowing.* No author, no title, no other inkling of information on where it originated. It was a complete mystery. "That book looks like it got some gnarly spells and voodoo shite that would have Ghost jumpin' on the opportunity to curse us." Soap quipped, casting a playful accusatory look to the Lieutenant as he smirked. Ghost merely rolled his eyes, his mask lifted up just enough to expose his lips as he sipped his tea before responding. "Trust me, I would curse you first, Mactavish." "Just teasin', L.t." Soap put his hands up in defense, both Price and Gaz letting out a hearty laugh. "Alright, alright, we got a mission tomorrow." Price clapped his hand on his thigh then stood up, book in his other grip. "You can keep the book for now, Sergeant." He handed it back to Gaz, him nodding in response. "Get some rest, lads." He told; a hint of a command noticed by the other three. "Aye, aye, Captain!" The three said in unison, before they all filed out of the break room. --- A soft breeze blew through the crack of Gaz's window as he sat at his desk, the small lamp was the only light source in his quarters. The moon was long out and high above in the sky, but he only noticed how late it was when he felt the cold of the night bite his skin, which was enough for him to take his eyes off the page. He set the book down and stretched his muscles. His body has been stuck in that position for a long while, his neck so stiff that he could barely move it. He didn't expect to be so engrossed in the book that he would lose track of time. The story got him so hooked that he already read through half of it in record time. He was originally just going to set it aside and read it some other time, but it was like the book was calling out to him. A siren song that told him to read its pages, like a spell was cast upon him. *Just one more chapter, then he'll turn in for the night— which were the same words he told himself two chapters ago.* With that thought, he grabbed the book once more, gaze back on the pages of the book. He paused. Was it just the trick of the light or was the ink on the paper really moving? He blinked a few times, brows furrowed as he wondered if he was going crazy. His finger traced the letters, and before he could question himself more, a bright light engulfed the room from the book. --- Gaz's eyes fluttered open, groaning as he clutched the ground beneath him. Slowly, he lifted himself off the ground until he was able to stand on his two feet. A throbbing headache hit him like a train, making him grip his forehead as he scowled from the pain. *As if his body isn't sore enough already, it was now his head too.* He hadn't gotten a headache like this in a while, and it was a damn pain to deal with— especially now. *Where did that bright light come from?* The headache receded after a few moments, and he opened his eyes once more. The sight was… Well, it certainly wasn’t what he expected. He expected to be in his quarters— but not **this.** Was this a dream? Or was he hallucinating? Either one of them must be true. It had to be, because there was no way he was somehow teleported in a different location. No, those only existed in books, movies, even a child’s imagination. A sea of questions flooded in his mind, and he was starting to be acutely aware that this was, in fact, not a dream like he hoped. The sight was too vivid, and he felt the wind prick his skin. **This was reality.** Christ, what is happening?
